"You act so powerful, yet so pitful, Zephy Zephy, was what you used to be called?" Alucard threw hellfire towards him.

The hellfire  flew towards Zephyr, but then the next moment they were already behind him and hit a wall.

" Andy, Andy, did your mother teach you how to aim?"

[Mirby]

"Seriously, am I supposed to fight you guys?" Mirby asked.

"No you're not." A familiar voice said.

"Hush, you. I took over your body, you get no say."

"The hell I don't! You don't fight my friends!"

"Friends? This ragtag bunch? Don't make me laugh!"

"Make you laugh? It'll be me who laughs once I get my body back!" To the outside observer, Mirby was talking to herself. But she wasn't.

"My dear, that will never happen. Now who should I slay first? Big noble Alucard, always fighting for what's right?" Mirby was walking by the party. "Or maybe this hunk of armor that can't even return to his own body? Purifying his soul shouldn't be a problem with the powers you gave me..."

"Powers you stole, you mean."

"Stole? Nothing of the sort. You didn't even struggle!"

"That's because you held me so tight I couldn't even move!"

"Ah, details, details. Maybe I'll kill this little girl... but no, she's of too important. Hey you, time mage guy! Where do all you bad types meet up?" She walked over to Zephyr, almost seductively...

[Blackhook]

"Hehe, I´m not surprised the change hit you, after all you were contamined by it the most."

Zephyr laughed a bit, then he answered Mirby´s question.

"Well, the real baddies meet up at Dr. Frankenstein´s place. Succesful experiments are welcomed."


Lisa runned to Mirby.

"Mirby! What are you doing? Stop fooling around please..."

"It was my father who taught me magic, long after my mother's death." Alucard pulled Lisa back.

"Lisa, stay back. She is not as she was before."

Metla came back to the dinning hall, screeching in glee because he had just finished making his new batch of stellar drugs.

"Hearts, I am ready-y to join you in battle..."

The vampire saw no one, only a burning body that looked much like Bjorn was on top of the debris of the dinning table.

"...Seems lik-ke the battle has already end-ded...pity."

Just then, a mosquito with its sack filled with blood came down on top of the hexagonal cranium of the stuttering vampire.

"My brethren did not d-die in vain though. Their verr-ry DNA lies withing this small ins-sect...as well as some others."

The mosquito crawled back from whence it came and Metla began walking towards the fat body.

"...Now then Obes-se one, stop playing dead and-d get up. We have much work-k to do." He said as he kicked the body.

"That was very rude of him...and your being very rude by laughing at my misfortune kitty!" ST said, mostly to himself.

"Well better get out of this chains." ST managed to slip oout his trusty cape and morphed its tip into an electrical saw. He started cutting off the chains one by one until he was free.

"Now then, lets see how our friend is doing...but first, a cold beverage."

(And so ST went out of the stage and headed straight to the studios nearby fridge. Where he enjoyed a nice cold can of soda.

Bluebeard was a little stunned and really confused. What was going on? Who's the enemy now? What the hell happened to Mirby!?

Bjorn was caught off guard by the explosion. However, he wasn't destroyed, or even that injured. If anyone was around Bjorn when it happened, they would see him standing where he was as the smoke cleared, the only visible damage being a couple patches of soot and his shirt being completely destroyed. "Feh! That's the last time you insult me, you stupid git." He said, brushing himself off. Now, he would be able to get to his plans unhindered by that idiot Hearts. He glared at Metla.

[ST Jestah]

Metla seized kicking Bjorn and looked at him, quite pleased actually.
"Good, you are aw-wake. Now that the fools h-have eradicated themselves, s-shall we continue with our quot-ta, Sir Obese Bjorn."

[Mirby]

"Got it. Next time we meet, we will be foes!" Dark energy rose from the floor below Mirby and engulfed her. In seconds she was gone, to Frankenstein's Lab. She arrived in the middle of the lab and looked around.

[Sapphire Knight]

Bjorn sighed. "Very well." He said, cracking his neck. "And enough with the obese crap." He grumbled, the shikigami that were in his coat were starting to reform after having gotten destroyed by the blast.

[Bjorn is, physically, rather close to the Spiderman cartoon's version of the Kingpin, appearing all fat but being mostly muscle.]

[Alice in Entropy]

Alice shook her head, then turned back to Zephyr and watched him battle Alucard.

Zephyr lookd at the place where Mirby was standing, then turned to Alucard.

"Oh well, maybe I should give you a little reward for all your troubles so far."

Zephyr wandered around, looking at the results of the battle.

"You see none of the demon bats in this room was theone you were looking for. And there is an easy explanation for it. Do you want to hear it?"

But before the scientist could do anything, Mirby arriwed at the lab. The doctor looked over to her. The fact how she got there surprised him, but he wasn´t surprised about that she was there...

"Welcome young lady. How can I help you?"

"Oh, some time guy told me the bad guys met up here. So I came. As for that fella there, whatcha planning on doing with him?"

Great. More vampires. And he's got a trick up his sleeve.

Well, then, you world-class fruitcake. Out with it.

Dan was tied down to a bed as The doc was about to do some experiments with him. He was able to neutralise the drug, but Dan was still weak. But before the scientist could do anything, Mirby arriwed at the lab. The doctor looked over to her. The fact how she got there surprised him, but he wasn´t surprised about that she was there...

"Welcome young lady. How can I help you?"

Dan looked around, weary and unsure of where he was (imagine the interrogation scene from MGS). "..." he was too weak to speak out but noticed a blurry but familiar figure. "...m-mirby?" He muttered.

[Mirby]

"Yes, that is what they called me, or at least who used to inhabit this body."

"WHO STILL DOES AND WILL CONTROL IT ONCE MORE!"

"Shut it, [sonic slicer]. However, I think that name doesn't really suit me..." Mirby looked around the lab, looking for some inspiration. She saw the foot of a giant eagle hanging on the wall... "Hmm... vicious looking. Perfect. I think I'll go by Talyn now."

"Good. Don't sully my name."

"It's not for you! Not my fault your name isn't menacing. Now shut the hell up!"

"Fine!"

"Ahem, anywho... Talyn is my name now. Doc, make sure you give this weak fool what he deserves!"

[Blackhook]

"Well, I was thinking if I should turn him into a robot or a biological weapon...but that can wait."

The doctor came closer to evil Mirby.

"Well miss, how do you like the result of my experiment?"

He was talking to the good Mirby.

"It´s a funny story, you see the guardians lord Death picked up turned out to be complete weaklings. Well, master Death couldn´t pick any random demons, he could only pick those with a strong connection with the lord. But as I said they were weak, and so the good doctor decided to step in. Before Mr. Tepes could destroy the demon bat I was able to bring it to the doctor. He then made a little experiment with it. The result was quite interesting! A container that could spread around evil energy, that affects anyone who uses holy or dark powers. The radiation is though a bit weak, so it works on those who are exposed to the container for a long time, also it affects humans easier....do you know what I´m getting at?"

[Black Mage J]

"You could have just said Mirby is the new guardian." Alucard said, already preparing to leave.

[Blackhook]

"Close but no cigar, think about it a little. The girl is just the victim of being exposed too long by the container´s evil radiation. The container is the guardian, guess what or rather who the container is!"

[Alice in Entropy]

"Is it you? Please say it's you. You have no idea how much I want to gouge your eyes out with the back end of my knives right now."

[ST Jestah]

Metla screeched in glee, in his way, screeching was a way to show both happiness and laughter.
"Cheer up, Bjorn, I onl-ly tease about your large figure. Now-ow then, what is the next phase of th-the plan?" He asked the explosion resistent count.

Zephyr was amused by Alice´s question.

"Nope, I was never close enough to the girl. But someone else was. Someone who seeked protection by the girl, someone who seemed weak and defenceless, someone who opened the trap and send you to the labyrinth!"

The girl.

Ammes laughed.

Clever.

Dan weakly smiled at the irony that had unfolded onto him. He looked around but couldn't find the Lecarde spear.

[Alice in Entropy]

Alice's gaze was immediately yanked over to Lisa.

"That girl...? She was..."

Alice gave Zephyr a cold, harsh look.

"You sick bastard."
