[Mirby]

"Let's make this more difficult, shall we?" The shadow took Mirby's body closer to Hearts, hoping to make Alucard's battle even harder. Mirby tried to struggle, but to no avail. The shadow just had her wrapped up too tightly...

[Black Mage J]

"tch!" Alucard used his blade to transport behind Hearts, striking a good blow.
"Garrgh! But look here, a young maiden ready for plucking!" Hearts sapped blood from Mirby's neck, healing himself in the process.
"Now, once more!"

[Dantonumanoa Ongdolota Amycronicon]

Ammes grunted disapprovingly.

I hate this place.

He fired a shower of light stakes at the bats. Then he saw Mirby get captured by her own shadow.

What in...? Ohh, what do I do?

[Alice in Entropy]

"Here's an idea," Alice snapped at Ammes, "Stop wondering what to do and KILL SOMETHING!"

[Dantonumanoa Ongdolota Amycronicon]

Great idea. I mean, it's not like Mirby is being used as a human shield, right? Plus, I think the shadow was joking when it said that it'd harm her if we did so much as to even touch it.

[Blackhook]

"Mirby! Ughh!"

Lisa was attacked by two vampires who were transformed into werebats. She was fending them of with the rapier.

Suddenly a small rock hit Heart´s left arm. The rock had enough force to crush it!
As Hearts turned around he noticed Remus, who followed those two. The werewolf pointed his gun at the vampire.

"Thanks for the little present Hearty, you were right, it was quite useful. Ok Mr. Alucard, let´s finish off this Psycho together!"

[Afro-Shroom]

As Dan watched the gingerbread man with liquorish glasses approached him, his nose began to bleed more.



As Afrula rested in his coffin his personal Skeletal Butler stood next to it, silent, awaiting for his master's next command.

[Alice in Entropy]

"I didn't say hit the shadow, you prick. Haven't you noticed the giant freaking bats that are trying to dismember us?"

Alice hated herself for losing her temper like this. Her strict training had made it difficult for her to empathise with others when death was on the line, though. She just hoped she didn't say something she would regret.

[Sapphire Knight]

Bluebeard rushed in to aid Lisa in taking on the vampire... Werebat.... Things attacking her by slamming the charred (though probably still living)  body of a giant bat between her and the werebats. "You alright, kiddo?"

[Dantonumanoa Ongdolota Amycronicon]

FORGET IT. YOU'RE HOPELESS.

Ammes created a fuzz of gray that engulfed the entire area, dulling the senses of everything within. He scouted the area, planning his next move.

[Black Mage J]

"Finish? ME?! DO NOT EXPECT ME TO DIE!!" Hearts yelled with an inhuman voice as his arm was replaced by a crimson demon arm as spirals came out of the ground.

"I WILL NOT DIE LIKE THIS! I. WILL. NOT. DIE!!" He combined them all in one ball of energy as the bats flew in along with the vampires.

[Mirby]

Mirby's shadow slowly started to merge itself closer to her body, almost to the point of being skintight. Her face had already been covered by the shadow, but if it was visible, a look of pure horror would have been seen.

[Screw it, Mirby's going evil. But not of her own free will. This should be a fun development!]

[Alice in Entropy]

As Ammes enveloped the area in his strange aura, Alice dropped her knives and held her breath. She hadn't felt like this, so disoriented and dazed, since the first time she had used her pocketwatch.

"Damnit...what was...that for...?"

[Black Mage J]

Hearts shot his ball of crimson energy towards the band of heroes.
"Alice, strike his head!" Alucard countered the blast with his dark magic.

[Mirby]

Mirby's shadow had almost completely taken over her body...

[Alice in Entropy]

Alice shook her head and, with nothing else to opt for, whipped out her pocketwatch and managed to hit the switch on it. Time immediately slowed to a crawl, allowing Alice to regain function of her senses. Before she figured out just what she was doing, though, she grabbed one of the knives Zephyr had left for her.

She lunged at Hearts and leapt up beside him.

"Say goodnight, you bastard."

She twirled the knife around in her hand and jammed it straught through Hearts's eye. She fell back to the floor as time resumed as normal.

[Black Mage J]

Hearts fell to the ground with a thud. His body became limp and his face became white, completely white. His eyes and mouth were gone as well.
Alucard breathed heavily as he went towards Mirby and tried to take the darkness off of her.

[Alice in Entropy]

Alice glanced over her shoulder.

"Is the son of a [sonic slicer] dead or what?"

[Blackhook]

Suddenly Zephyr jumped down from the roof. On his way down he grabbed Mirby then he slammed her to the ground as they landed.

"I guess it won´t get more interesting, so I guess we should finish it."

The rest of the surviving vampires and demon bats were impaled by knives, that exploded, destroying the their targets.

"It seems fatso´s not here...oh well, I guess he was the only smart one of the bunch."

[Mirby]

Right as Hearts died, Mirby's shadow finished taking over her body. A mysterious wormhole appeared and sealed the pendant inside. Waves of dark energy emanated from Mirby's body, and an inpenetrable dark shroud covered her as a makeover of sorts was being done...

[YOU TYPE TOO FAST PEOPLE!!]

[Alice in Entropy]

Alice smiled when she saw Zephyr arrive.

"Oh, hey, you." She held up the knife she had stabbed Hearts with - still covered in blood - and stuck her tongue out at him. "Thanks for these, by the way. Your buddy there seemed to like what I can do with them."

[Mirby]

The shroud lifted. Mirby's eyes had a ruddy hue to them, and her outfit was... well, it accentuated her features. Skintight, high heels, low cut from chest to toe. Her hair was longer too.

"So... where's the bad guys so I can help them out?" Mirby asked.

[Black Mage J]

The white body lifted itself up and carried off into the night. It's limbs were flying wildly. It flew across to Bjorn, strapped across him. A radio fizzled voice came across.
"Thank you for being such a wimp. KYAAAHAHAHHAHAHAAH!!" It blew up along with the vampire.

"Mirby?" Alucard stood wondering what went happened.

[Blackhook]

Zephyr whistled when he saw Mirby´s "makeover"

"This seems interesting...This experiment is really getting more and more interesting"

[Alice in Entropy]

"Experiment? What are you..." She looked over at Mirby and almost felt her jaw drop. "Christ almighty. What did I miss?"
