"I wish I knew what I could do to... to curb his anger... But we'll have to reach that floor first! Remember, there's a trap door near the top; Bluebeard and I fell through it. Be on your toes. Ready, everyone?"

[Blackhook]

The little girl approaches the group of heroes.  The girl was pale a pretty face,shoulder length black hair and reddish eyes. She was wearring a gothic dress with bat motives on it.
"Umm..excuse me please, could you tell me what this place is?"
She asked embarassed.

[Mirby]

"What... the... a little girl? But... but how?" Mirby was shocked at this latest development.

[Blackhook]

The girl hastily bowed down her head in appology
"I- I am sorry, it seems that I am bothering you, I-I will leave then"

[Mirby]

"N-no, don't go. This castle is dangerous; you shouldn't wander its halls on your own. Come with us, we'll protect you."

[I assume I've just set up the cliché of protect-the-girl-who's-actually-a-demon-or-something, right?]

[Blackhook]

[Well...almost, but with a little twist. PM me if you want it to be spoiled to you]

The girl looked happy, but then it started looking around in confuion
"...This is a castle? W-wait, dangerous? What is this place?"

[Mirby]

[No, it's okay. As long as I know I'm on the right track here, I can formulate this storyline from here.]

"I think it's some sort of manifestation of chaotic energies... brought forth by its master. As to who that is, I don't know. But he must be stopped..."

[Also, by this point, Mirby knows she was brought here for some reason. She doesn't know what that reason is though.]

[Blackhook]

 " whoa you are so brave! Who are you guys anywa...?"
The girl noticed Alucard. She got scarred of him and hid herself behind Mirby

[Afro-Shroom]

"I think it's some sort of manifestation of chaotic energies... brought forth by its master. As to who that is, I don't know. But he must be stopped..."

"It's a creature of chaos...", Dan interupted," And the master is no one other then Afr-....Count Dracula himself."

" whoa you are so brave! Who are you guys anywa...?"
The girl noticed Alucard. She got scarred of him and hid herself behind Mirby

"Us? We're just a group of people who came here for an unknown reason." HE paused for a moment,"Fate if you will."

[Mirby]

Mirby turned to Dan. "Well I was close," she whined. "It's not like I'd know everything about it, ya know." Then she looked at the girl. "Yeah, fate does seem to have brought us all together; don't worry, you're safe with us."

[Blackhook]

"Now I wonder how I ended up here? Y-you seem nice enough so I trust you."

[Mirby]

"Well, let's go." Mirby's pendant started to grow slightly warm for some odd reason; it was too faint to worry about though...

[Black Mage J]

Alucard looked at the girl, his face softening a little "There's no need to fear me, as long as your on our side" He said, he turned away, throwing his cloak behind him and setting off for his father's throne
"Mirby, you do know we need to defeat the 4 guardians who are powering the trap at Father's door, right?"

[Mirby]

"Umm.. no... maybe we should go do that then..." Mirby said, scratching the back of her head nervously.

[Black Mage J]

"But first we need to find them, we also might need to be careful with some two others who seem to be helping them out." Alucard said, still trying to avoid eye-contact with Mirby.

[Mirby]

"Okay. Where might the first one be found?"

[Black Mage J]

"Down these corridors might be one, there was a bat, although it escaped before I could deliver a finishing blow" He walked past the corridors, slaying monsters and helping the small girl through the areas "Careful here, everyone" He led them to a large room draped with red paint-or blood.

[Mirby]

"Before we fight, let me ask you something, Alucard. Why won't you look me in the eyes?"

[Black Mage J]

"Well, it is just that I saw what Sedo had you doing, I cannot seem to make a straight face if I try to look at you." Alucard choked out, uncomfortably.

[Mirby]

"Well, as hard as it may be, forget about it. It's not like I meant to send you an image of that, and I wasn't in control of my body at that time. Think of it... like it was a doppelganger of me doing it. I was not. Now let's move; we need to be able to look each other in the eyes for the battles; that's a good signal that the foes hopefully won't be able to decode."

[Black Mage J]

"Yes, I get that," Alucard broke open the doors, no longer caring for the castle. ""I hope it's Death, we have enough of a party to rally against him, wouldn't you agree?"

[ST Jestah]

Before the small child made contact with our heroes, the masked man response to Mirby answer was:
"I see...that's funny...I can still feel it somewhere around this castle."

Meanwhile, a small passenger (not the girl) snuck inside the armor withouth being noticed.

After the groups chatted with the girl, they began their quest to slay the four guardians of Afrula's castle.

"So, Alucard was it? The guardians you talked about. How do they look like?"

Meanwhile, the Persephone who had given Afula's his beloved's cape began to twitch her head a bit.  

[Black Mage J]

"One is a giant bat, one is Death. That is as far as I know, Death had not told me specifically who he chose.

[Mirby]

"Let's go then. To slay the Four Guardians!"

[Black Mage J]

Alucard cupped Talyn's mouth "It's right there" He hissed, pointing over to the monster lying in the shadows, the candles around him blowing out.
