I was gonna do something completely stupid with my pokemon nicknames and name them after giant robots.

But in seriousness, I need to build a team that can cover one-another's weaknesses..hmm.. Anyone got advice?

So I have White now. The feel of this installment is radically different. There are so many things to do only so far into the game, too.

Marriland's team builder works wonders when evaluating what types you've got covered. Steel blocks pretty much everything except Fighting, Ground, and Fire, and the first two can be blocked by a lot of Ghosts.

Makinazer gets my full support, btw.

I'll admit that was a bit harder since you don't get to heal. His leading pokemon was an ass since he used Toxic and then Protect. I only used 1 lead pokemon at the time and a few throw aways. Still my pke was dead by the time the 2nd poke came out due to badly poisened dmg.

And just to show how much of an evil bastard he is, they gave him a hacked Hydreigon since those things evolve 10 levels later than the one his is at.

Actually I found Ghetis to be easy for me since I had Meinshao, then again my pokemon were lv 50 before I took on the Elite 4.  Also was catching Zekrom/Reshisham supposed to be that easy?

I had a really ballin' team of 50 - 52s + Reshiram for that fight and Hydreigon alone was Megaman-ing the [tornado fang] out of them. Between the most accurate Focus Blasts ever (brutalizing the Scrafty & Carracosta on my team then), Flamethrowers (Serperior), Surf (LOL Darmanitan), and Dragon Pulse for cleanup (Reshiram), the only thing without coverage was Eelektross and it pretty much just outsped me the whole way through.

All of my pokemon were sub 50 with the exception of Reshiram and I curbstomped Ghetsis anyways. Yay Reshiram and Dragon Danced Haxorus.

Also was catching Zekrom/Reshisham supposed to be that easy?

IIRC 40 something catch rate, so yes. Seeing how you're kinda forced to do it they had to. What surprised me about catching legendaries is that I caught Kyurem in my first Dusk Ball, and that bastard is supposed to have a catch rate of 3 like everyother legend. Yay me I guess.

As of now, I have a Samurott, Unfezant, Simisear, Cofagrigus, Reuniclus, and Pawniard.
Everyone except for the Samurott and Simisear all have Natures that lower S. Defense, out of [tornado fang]ing bad coincidence. All are at 49. I wonder if a Bisharp would solve my problems?

Yep. Their catch rate was high enough that you can capture it with Quick Balls in the first 2 or 3 turns.

...You have GOT to be kidding me. A friend at school asked me if she could play my game for a while, and I said yes as long as she didn't save. She was telling me how she usually finds rare stuff when other people let her play after I saw surprised that she found a wild Pupitar. When she was done she gave me the DS back and told me that she had found a couple of items and stuff, so I saved because why the hell not. Flashforward a couple of hours later, I turn the game on and head for the Pokemon Center because she fainted pretty much all but two of my pokemon, and what does Nurse Joy tell me? My pokemon caught Pokerus. I had never, EVER gotten Pokerus before in ANY generation. Never. She wasn't freaking kidding o__O

So...what am I supposed to do with it? D:

For me it was like this:

Haxorus + Mold Breaker + Dragon Dance = Epic Victory!

Pokerus doubles the amount of EVs you get, so you want to spread that bad boy like wildfire.  It's only contagious for a day, so it's something that you want to do ASAP.

And literally put at least on pokemon with pokerus in your Box. that way it infects other pokemon and you'll never have worry about it going away, I think. I wish I had it. 6 SP Evs x 2= 12 ZP evs, I would have been earning. Cuts the time in half.

Well, that's exactly what I did. I don't do the whole EV training thing (yet at least) because I'm more of a collector than a battler, but still want to keep it

Speaking of collecting, what's the best way to get EXP outside of an E4 run? They'd totally destroy my team, they certainly aren't the same as Sinnoh's E4 which I honestly had no problem defeating even though they were up to 20 levels higher. If I'm gonna have to use all of my revives and full restores for it then it's not worth it. I gues I could use Arceus and stuff but tha't'd take out the fun of actually getting into the Hall of Fame.

So far I've just been doing daily Black City battles and driving the Audino population to extinction on the route outside (with a lucky egg of course), dunno if there's something else I could do. This Deino sure isn't gonna level itself from 1 to 60 something itself -___-

Btw, anyone wanna trade version exclusive pokemon or something?

Well, I downloaded the ROM for Black, but I can't level up due to a bug. It's no problem since I'm planning on legitimately buying it, but I still wanna play.

I believe you mean anti piracy measure. Still, it's not like that hasn't been solved forever ago, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to play Japanese White version. Buy it anyways since you'd be missing on all of the C-Gear stuff (I'm pretty sure the thing crashed every time I turned it on -__-).

I'd found that's the best place to train. Just slap EXP Share on, and use your regulars to fight through.
