Well I admit there are some very unusual Pokemon this generation (an ice-cream cone, what the [tornado fang]?) but I'm digging most of the designs. Plus, it will be a breath of fresh air after having to suffer Geodudes and Zubats every new game.

Other than another [tornado fang]ing Fire/Fighting type. Starters are kinda cool.

Smuglord should be part dragon once it loses its legs. It looks like Milotic and Dragonair combined.

Hmm the designs look a bit iffy to me but I think I can use Enbuoo, Zeburaika, and Kenhorou for the elite 4 and figure out the rest later.  The fighting types look really really weird to me but Kirikizan seems to make up for it by being a power ranger samurai, though it sucks that he's a Dark/Steel. 

Am I the only one that thinks PB will have a partiality to Warubiaru the red Dark/Ground desert croc?

Also since there are 2 dragon gym leaders now how's that going to work with Iris in the anime?

YES, WE FINALLY GOT A POLAR BEAR!!! 

That said, I figured there would have been a few more ice types, but they've always been more on the scarce side, so I'm not really disappointed.  The polar bear's stats are kinda questionable, as ice isn't too great of a defensive type.  I don't know what his ability is, though, so we'll see how this goes.  Web Spider, Ice Cream, and Ice Dragon look interesting too.
