I thought that's what you were talking about. My response: So what?

I'll remind you that I followed that paragraph with "Still, Rockman9 is" and why I don't really care about them taking graphical shortcuts. You're arguing against nothing.

Ah.
QuoteI really don't see this as a problem, being that it makes the game cheap!
It encourages developers to be lazy IMO.

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

But we don't suffer from it. We still get a damn good game.

Unless you hate MMclassic. Then you're [tornado fang]'d. But I don't care. Because I am happy.

Flame

I dont want to get into the argument again, because it will only result in everyone ganging up on me for my opinions.
Ill just say, thats what I think.

You know what they say. Opinions are like assholes. Everyone has them...
...nobody wants to see them.
And that's exactly what we do.

But you're right, this disucssion has gone on long enough.

Black Mage J

And it stopped getting good around page 9.

Jericho

Motion to change the topic to master weapons. I hope this game learns from MM9 and makes it so all the weapons are as well varied and used.

Acid

Sheepman's weapon will be a shield-type.

It just seems too logical that wool surrounds you

Black Mage J

I was hoping more of a knife type weapon that cuts things, like wool....

Acid

That would be his weakness.

Maybe we'll get Blade Man.

Or Razor Man

Hypershell

Well, MM9 was pretty darn strong in the special weapons department, so I see no reason 10 wouldn't be.  My only concern would be, Inti being Inti, the risk of direct rehashes.  Which we'll likely see regardless due to the general tendency to include a shield weapon every other game.  But whatever.

If you're desperate, Flame: HBC. But you decide if you want to go that way.
You can't give him a better reason for HBC than to pirate WiiWare?  You could have at least dangled the dressless-Brawl-Peach carrot or something. >U<

Or, metal sword man, with all the fusion going on it came to me.

Irgendein

I kinda figured his weapon would be electric based, since the RM itself is..

Why haven't I heard of this before? D:

Jericho

Seriously, if Sheepman doesn't have a weakness to a weapon called Blade Runner, that will be the biggest missed opportunity ever.

Or Chef Man (Chef's knives and all), or Lawnmower Man. 8)

Mow Man.

That sounds good enough to be true.

QuoteIt encourages developers to be lazy IMO.

Capcom/Inti had to create new tilesets for MM10. They also had to program it. That is not lazy.
