So essentially, you're jumping to conclusions of what you think Capcom "might" do based upon your fear of a retro X9 game, due to the Classic series MM9 & MM10 games, which again is not the X series, when no such X9 has been announced yet.

And keep in mind, Capcom is a business. Perhaps they've done the research and found out that a retro style, cheap $10 downloadable Classic MegaMan game would sell a lot better than a new high end style Classic series game. If this is true, then essentially your problem wouldn't be with the games or Capcom, but with fans like me!

If more than 10 people on this forum have played or seen 2 of these in action, this discussion wouldn't be happening, hence my post earlier on SNES era cutscenes.

I never had a SNES either, but I've still played a lot of the games...eventually...illegally.

I grew up a SEGA boy instead.

And then carried over to the Sony side.
Up until last generation, which made me move to...nothing really, PC mostly I guess.

I gamed everywhere growing up. If it wasn't Super Mario Bros & Startropics on the NES, it was Commander Keen & Chip's Challenge on the PC. I just went everywhere and found one or two things to my liking along the way.

Powerstone was neat.

I was expecting Rockman 10 to be in Rockman 8 Style, but nevertheless, 8-bit rocks more.

I want Power Stone 3 and Legends 3 just as much as everyone else, but...

Power Stone 3 was mentioned along with the Legends 3 announcement thingy at the Unity.
Let that part be over with, then we can wait and see if it's coming. Discuss it in that topic.

Mega Man 10 is a entirely different announcement. Unexpected too. >v<;

Dude, we still have people who believe the cataclysm, believe Zero actually fought Rock, and folks who STILL think X is Rock, regardless of what Capcom says. I dont think its gonna end so easily... (remember the guy who claimed everything was fanservice and thus not canon...?)
