Is it just me, or are some megaman fans also castlevania fans? I started noticing this when sprites inc got a castlevania section. Just curious.

How? I am currently using .wav for sounds, and .ogg for music. As MMF2 uses MIDI for music. Although I think there maybe some direct x plugins or extensions that can play MP3's, but I'm trying to use as less extensions as possible. While you can loop audio and sound infinitely, I don't see a problem. I can show you my source code if you want to take a look at it. X_X

In any case, more weapons testing. The Charged shot is now a limited weapon.

Oh noez, no needin' for source code. But I noticed something, even if you dont touch the spikes you can die you just need to be close enough to die.

For the moment, Touhou Rock Girl (the 8bit Touhou game starring my lovely favorite Hakurei Reimu~) is only a soundtrack for the moment. The screenshots are just mock-ups and the game doesn't seem to be real, but the soundtrack will still come on December 25th, celebrating that Rockman 9 is available for download on Wii.

I'll see if I can get my hands on it!

Here's another Rockman 3 romhack. Rockman 3 Alpha. Maybe some of you have heard of it. It isn't on the same hacked levels of Rockman 2 hacks but it does change up the levels a bit and the damage ratio is a lot higher. Think of it as a tougher version of Rockman 3.

Hmm... It seems people still don't know that much about me.

Besides the rather furtive work I did back in the day on Megaman: Destiny Gate, a 3D platformer made in Gamemaker(I subsequently stopped working on it after college became so time consuming), I was one of the key individuals working alongside Arne Strout as he made MM21XX, although at the time, that mostly consisted of designing a sprite here and there. However, one day Arne left the project in its current unfinished version and, desiring to finally complete this fangame once and for all, became the new project manager. Working extensively side-by-side with another individual name The Music Guy, we fixed coding errors while I revamped sprites, characters cinemas and plot all based on the original plan outlined by Arne Strout.

The short version of this story is that I managed to create the final version of MM21XX roughly three years ago. Sadly, not many people seem to know as news didn't spread very far once the forum on Stroutsink.com shut down. I guess I didn't make as much effort as I should have to spread the word.

But for you, dear Vixy, I present my opus, written by Arne Strout and preformed by me. The thread even includes a manual and guide written by me.

I've known about alpha along time ago I've talked to the owner of the small apple website (japanese) before on his message boards while he was halfway through producing the rom hack. It was like probably almost 2 years ago. Alpha is pretty good.
