the MM7 NES-make was nearly perfect.  I'm trying to figure out how to turn down the volume of the sound fx so it doesnt drain out all the music that the composers spent so much time on.  I'm looking foward to MM8-NES.  I'm having trouble navigating the japanese websites,  can someone give us a progress update?  Should I hold my breath or wait until 2010 to begin thinkin about it's arrival?

yknow, I seriously think theyre going too far with the "retro" all because its retro style doesnt mean they have to get rid of the Megaman 8 Rush items. after all, if they are gonna keep the shop...

Ehh, I really didn't care much for the Rush items from RM8 aside from that Medic Rush thing where he flies in and drops a bunch of items for a couple seconds. That saved my ass during the final Wily boss fights. The other items seemed pretty useless to me.

And that's my issue with these retro remakes; they do not allow any new materials in what should be sequels to MM6. An intro stage is entirely possible on NES, a midgame stage is entirely possible on NES, the new Rush items are entirely possible on NES.

Those two new weapons... why would he be using RockmanRockman Weapons? Is he adding TimeMan and OilMan in? Or is it just a lazy way to replace Rush?

As far as I can understand, TimeMan will be hidden in AstroMan´s stage and Oil Man in SearchMan´s stage

I swear to God... they are so F*ing lazy if they replace rush that way. plus, Timeman and Oilman? arnt those two questionably canon? also, they could just put Woodman and cutman and give their weapons...

I never liked Tithead Man and Racist Man, to be honest. Give us back Cut Man and Wood Man and stop being complete retro [Top Spin]s, Rock7/8 FC team.

Yeah, save TimeMan and OilMan for the remake of Powered Up!  (Remaking a remake is awesome.)
