See, I respect 5 for being a good game, but something bothers me about it. XD

I do know that Team Colonel has little to NO chance against Team Blues.

Man, the gameplay difference between the two was so amazingly broken. XD

*Thanks God he experienced it through Double Team DS*

IIRC it was one on the boat with Tomahawk/Napalmman, they switched the homepages for generic areas, and that's it I think. It got the better end of the deal when you compare it with 6.

Man, the gameplay difference between the two was so amazingly broken. XD

What do you mean?

I noticed that some of the Homepages were more advanced in the JAP version then they were in the US version... Why did they feel the need to change those?

Capcom does it to [acid burst] off their fanbase, of course. You gotta keep those hardcore types interested somehow. Capcom can't do that through innovation and adding new things, so they change tiny things in the games that don't matter for the US version instead.

omg! They changed the jack-in sequence in BN2!
omg! They changed the homepages!
omg! They took the blood out in Zero!

I swear, Double Team DS's Party Combo system proved that... plus I spammed the hell out of Colonel's V slash charge shot when I had the chance due to party power up exploitation. Also: Protoman + Half a deck of Area Steals = PWN. XD

Workshop/DA/YT/Photobucket なにかんがえてるの!?
So its about ass now huh? EVEN THE ASS HAS 'EXCEEDED'!

One mention of LEGENDS and everyone goes batshit.  :\

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

It got really messy to find my sprite and comic topic, so it's in my sig.

What do you mean?

There were a lot of instances where I felt like Team Protoman was near broken with the Navis that comprised it, whereas Team Colonel seemed almost imbalanced for the situations it was in. Then again, it's been so long since I played 5 that I can't really give clear examples, so let's chalk this one up to me "doin' it wrong". XD

Well, it was just that I don't really remember how the teams compared to each other =P

Agreed with imbalance in TC, Tomahawk Man, Colonel and ShadowMan were the only really good Navis in that game.. KnightMan didn't have enough range, Numberman was too weak, and ToadMan was mediocre.

Press was pretty retarded in EXE3, but other than that it was a great game. A lot of bosses were annoying as hell though.

I think it's really Capcom of Japan's fault. They keep adding so much content to a game that the translators can't do anything without removing a few things to make room for the translation. That is, unless they used bigger carts, but apparently someone did not wish to invest extra money into that. Double Team restores a lot of EXE5's content because they're far more space to work with.

Oh yeah, that was my pet theory, that they leave so little empty space on the cart that something has to get thrown out to make room for new text.  At least whenever the reason's not "It requires this peripheral, and we're not releasing this peripheral in other regions because it won't sell enough!"

One day we'll get an EXE game without annoying abbreviations on Chips, locations, items, enemies and powers

When you hit the Beach Area, the game gets pretty overwhelming in a lot of ways, because you're starting to see how much junk there is to do, and the story doesn't get good until a very long stretch where you finally hit Devil's Isle and the tournament.

That's also a fault of Capcom of Japan. They've coded the game for a certain number of Japanese characters. But since Japanese combines vowel and consonant, they can write complicated things using a lot less symbols. They could have pulled off a name like YamatoMan easily, whilst we would only end up with YmtoMan abbreviated. Thus the change to JapanMan...

Sure, they COULD recode the font to be smaller, but that takes extra work!

BassAnly.

Took me forever to figure out what Anly meant.

Anomaly. Though why 'anomaly', I don't know.
