QuoteMarvel and Madhouse just announced and released 2 teasers for a 4 part series of anime movies featuring Marvel superheroes. The first two teasers are for Ironman and Wolverine.

The films are supposed to redesign “popular Super Heroes redesigned and repurposed as emerging from the fabric of Japanese culture” and from the teasers you’ll know they are serious about this.  The project is slated for spring 2010

Wolverine trailer
"Di Mant de Vongole Primo!"

Rin

The Wolverine one is complete bullshit and I refuse to accept it.
Ironman one is awesome, therefore I will be awaiting it.

You call that bullshit? At least that's not the X-men shojo manga >_>
I agree about Ironman though.

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

Shiki Tohno

The Wolverine one looks way too over the top to feel believable within the universe. The Iron Man one sticks much more to the original backdrop and is therefore much more acceptable.

Flame

That wolvrerine looks just too strange... I much prefer the Wolverine manga that came out a while ago. At least he looked more like he normally would.
that ironman looks like all kinds of awesome though.

However, Ill give Wolvie the benefit of the doubt, and give him a try too.

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

Protoman Blues

I'll be eagerly looking forward to both.  I've always wanted to see American comics done with Anime, albeit with a similar storyline, but either way, it looks promising to me.  Hell, can't be worse than Marvel's regular animated movies.

The Drunken Dishwasher

aside from the two X-men anime openings they did themselves~

Wan and Tew

anyways, these two piqued my interest, i'll definitely watch them

Protoman Blues

Either way, if this does well, I'll eagerly await Spider-Man.

You can't really change Iron Man's appearance though...

Sure you can.  It's been done in the Iron Man comics for decades.

But that one was about Kitty [tornado fang]ing Pryde. Not the GODDAMN SNIKT-BUB!

Altough, it seems they said something about this being the test footage or some [parasitic bomb]. We just have to wait and see.

Satoryu

yeah, Wolverine looks different. which means i'm not going to expect anything directly related to Wolverine. it seems with the style it's going, it's going to be a loose adaptation. i'm curious.

Iron Man, though, i am very excited about.

What happens in Vegas stays on Youtube. I also stream on Twitch from time to time.

Well, I meant to the extent Wolverine's been changed. I wouldn't know though, I haven't read many of the Iron Man comics.

Rin

One thing about Ironman must stay in this anime.
First, he needs to have facial hair.
Second, he needs to be an alcoholic.

Protoman Blues

Iron Man looks totally different from the comics too, in terms of what he's fighting.  However, his armor is strictly from the movies.

The animations look damn fine though. They better not waste their entire budget on the intros.

I'll have a look, might turn out better than expected!

Protodude

Iron Man looks splendid. Wolverine? Meh, not too big on that hairdo.

I didn't refer to appearance. I referred to what the trailer actually depicted. I mean, Wolvie fighting "ghosts"? Puh-leeeeease.

LoL, perfect choice of song!

Also, he has.  I think he's currently in 5-6 books.
