Well, I have finished Mai-Otome, my 100th anime.  I must say that I loved this show as much as I loved Mai-HiME.  Easily a 10/10 from me.  I'm now watching Mai-Otome Zwei, which will be followed by Mai-Otome 0~S.ifr~.  Then, I'll probably start Shakugan no Shana II.

Aight, since I've been stuck at home for the past few days with shitty internet and a cold that doesn't wanna let go, I've been on a watching spree. Finished both seasons of Black Lagoon this afternoon, and while I'm not one to regularly enjoy violent stuff like this, I have to admit I liked it quite a lot -- I especially loved how Rock ended up being more badass than anyone would have thought, and how Revy ended up going all tsundere for him.

After that, started Witchblade, currently on episode 3. Series seems to be good so far, and the Witchblade itself is visually very well represented.

Unfortunately, the manga series seems to have ended on November 2006, and no new content on the series has been published ever since, so it's VERY unlikely a third anime season will be released.

I need to finish Black Lagoon: 2nd Barrage sometime, speaking of which.  I finished Mai-Otome Zwei tonight.  Awesome series is awesome.  Another perfect 10 from me.  Now, I'm watching Mai-Otome 0~S.ifr~.  Holy crap.   The first episode was INTENSE!  I know why the Artist formerly known as DZ gave it a 10.

As for me, finished Witchblade a few hours ago. The ending [tornado fang]'d up the entire build-up of the story.[spoiler]The main star, Amaha Masane, dies at the end -- but the entire build up during the first 23 episodes makes it look as if somehow she's going to use the Witchblade's power against itself to either get rid of it or overcome the necessity for her to die because of its power.[/spoiler]Drastically lowered score awarded to it because of this; a story with an excellent build up right until the end should NOT blow it like Witchblade did. If the ending had been different, it'd have easily been another Perfect Score.

In the meantime, if only in order to cleanse my mind of the anger and sadness at the end of Witchblade, started ToLOVEru. Haven't really even finished watching the first episode though.

That final duel sure was intense, loved it.
