Oh there IS this kind of topic here?

Allow me to share my [parasitic bomb] taste. On my iPod now is a couple or so episodes each of:
  • Samurai Champloo
  • Kyokai no Kanata
  • Cardcaptor Sakura (i watch stuff slowly sometimes, so sue me)
  • Gundam Build Fighters (Not bad, and this is coming from someone who isn't even that into Gundam)
  • That weird ass sakurasou anime
  • SAO (finally gave in and watched it, it's.......okay)

what

I watched SAO due to someone else dragging me into it. I enjoyed the first 10 episodes or so, then it kinda went down after that.

rock, mannnnnnnnn

Did Ruri take something? I mostly expected you to insult me as usual, now I'm confused :\

oh well I've been away for a while anyways

Yeah, I have to admit that part of the reason I gave it a chance is that, after all the heckling I gave it and its Titanic counterpart, people who I looked up to actually said it wasn't bad, including DemoD+ who also noted the terrors of Episodes 15-25.

I actually had no idea there was going to be a season 2. Let's hope they don't actually go off of those last few episodes so much, eh?

what

I've been watching Black Bullet, which is a subpar adaptation honestly, Mekaku City Actors which is [tornado fang]ing fantastic, and Mangaka-san to Assistant-san to which honestly the manga's better but I still laugh.

Oh, and still meduka meguka

That weird ass sakurasou anime

Dude, Sakurasou is [parasitic bomb]. Watch Chuunibyou instead.

EDIT: I mean, it was alright for a few episodes, but I got kind of freaked out by the autism romance.

EDIT 2: Someone recommended Hitsugi no Chaika to me so I'm starting that now.

Chaika's really good. Probably the first anime I've seen with no internal monologues in the middle of a fight.
Also the fights are pretty well handled visually so there's that.

Generally it's kind of like watching a movie or something. Atmosphere and scenes are handled a lot like something you'd see in, say, Harry Potter or The Hobbit.

Characters ain't bad either.

Go watch it.

This Season's list for me

On my Watchlist:-
Hitsugi no Chaika
One Week Friends
Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei
No Game no Life
Mushishi Zoku Shou
Ryuugajou Nanana no Maizoukin

Not sure if gonna continue:-
Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii
Black Bullet
Mekakucity Actors- not a fan of Kagerou Project, but whatever

Haven't really watched, just skimmed it through:-
Seikoku no Dragonar
Brynhildr in the Darkness

Dropped:-
Soul Eater Not-I regret watching this, they turned this into an utter terrible horrible abominaniated epic failed attempt moeshit.

Don't feel bad about dropping Black Bullet. I keep saying this but the manga and the LN are way better. EP2 was a step in the right direction but the adaptation's really bad.

That's saying... nothing. You could say the same about any adaptation.

FMA Brotherhood is the exception. It's more-or-less on par with the manga.

I'd like to believe you that FMA:B is good, I really would. But it's ranked #1 at MAL and to be honest I really wouldn't trust anything that that community collectively rates that good.

Well, I wouldn't necessarily place it that high, but it's definitely an amazing adaption; possibly the most faithful adaption ever. It also has one of the most satisfying conclusions I've seen. Unlike Attack on Titan, it does deserve the praise it gets.

You can take my word on that.

[spoiler]Honestly if it didn't have Humans that can turn into Titans it might have been good.[/spoiler]

Still the hype was so damn annoying.  Though for some reason Kill la Kill doesn't have the same problem with hype and I still want to see it.

Current playthrough: Chrono Trigger and God Eater Ressurection
