And honestly, whether it be cheesy or not, the show got stale real quick for me. I just could not get into it.

I think the plot also got too complicated for what it was with the DG cells part at least.  That was just kind of weird.

This so much this.  That's what I like about G Gundam, heck maybe they could have expanded more about the politics and ethics around it too because that took a back seat pretty quick.  That was honestly interesting since for the first half of the anime they were fighting wherever they damn well please and didn't get in trouble since Gundam Fighters were above collateral damage.  Not to mention the people who were forced to fight in it even if they didn't want to.

G Gundam wasn't too bad... but I do agree that the tournament stuff was the best of it. The Devil Gundam returning as much as it did wasn't it's strong point.

Maria Holic got a dub. First episode sounds great. Didn't expect Kanako to be voiced by Cutey Honey though.

On the subject of Sentai Filmworks dubs, a recent trend with a lot of them is to address characters family name first. I really don't like that, it sounds really bizarre in English, especially when there are non-Japanese characters in a show as well and they're obviously referred to given name first. It was the worst in Campione, where the script actually used both orders interchangeably.

I see a lot more dubs using Japanese honorifics as well, which I also don't really like. I understand some don't translate very well into English, but what's wrong with just leaving some of them out? If they're used for some sort of gag, like in Bodacious Space Pirates or something, I guess I can give you that. But if they're just left in, I'm not a fan.

I can see how that would be annoying. Honorifics are nice and all but the [tornado fang]ing dub doesn't need them.

Speaking of dubs, I was discussion the 3rd Eva movie with my friend and he says the dub completely missed the message of the end of the movie regarding Shinji.
