Well, 00 Gundam done. I enjoyed it overall, although I'm not entirely sure what to think of the movie.

AGE next, I suppose. And... that's it, until Unicorn is completed. The Origin too I suppose.

I just starting watching this anime called Kill La Kill. It's only 3 episodes in. I like it!

Which group? I'm waiting for Commie to release ep3

And yeah, it's pretty good!

I guess all I can really say is it isn't exactly what I'd expect out of a $4.4M game

It doesn't even have mouth animations

Group? Haha, I'm naive when it comes to this since I haven't watched much anime in a while!

The first 2 I saw on Crunchyroll and Ep 3 I watched on Anime4Fun. I have no idea if this helps! XD

Reaper was referring to a fan-subbing group PB, as in fan-translators who subtitle the spoken dialogue of an anime series into whichever language the viewer understands (usually English). And like the clothes on our backs, every subbing group is different. Good to know that Crunchyroll has Kill la Kill though because forclosure is a [sonic slicer] to me...

Ah, I don't stream shows. I see how that's confusing then.
Not like anything on Crunchyroll is ever available to me...

I don't stream anime myself, but I know that sometimes it's better to do it.
So don't be hating.

I may as well do that for Soul Eater since Netflix axed it from the service. Also...

Watched Black Lagoon: Roberta's Blood Trail. Almost completed Devil Survivor 2. Started watching Blazblue Alter Memory, Campione, Kokoro Connect, Medaka Box, The Severing Crime Edge, My High School Romantic Comedy Snafu, Watamote, and the ADV dub of Gatchaman.

What happens in Vegas stays on Youtube. I also stream on Twitch from time to time.

Just watch it on Toonami? Or buy the DVDs, they aren't that expensive on Amazon.

It's kind of on late on Toonami, hell I stopped watching Toonami because stuff is on late and I don't like most of it anyway.

Anyway watching Tamayura and the Daughter of Twenty Faces.  Danganronpa looks interesting and I might give that a watch.

Current playthrough: Chrono Trigger and God Eater Ressurection

[tornado fang] no, don't do it.
It's a shitty, rushed adaptation of the game.
Even then, the game isn't gold, but it's far better than this garbage.
Just download the game and the anime soundtracks, and enjoy some Masafumi Takada, or if you have a modded PSP, get the game. It has an english patch.

The thing is that I don't have a PSP anymore, and I don't plan on buying another in the near future.  Besides I said I might watch it not that I would watch it.  Is there a manga?

Yeah, the only thing I pretty much watch Toonami now is Soul Eater up until I started watching it on Netflix so I don't have to stay up past 1:00 AM to see... up until Netflix axed it, and I have episodes to catch up on that I ignored on Toonami. :P I would watch One Piece, but it feels odd watching it way past the starting point.

Aside from that, I've been catching up on Magical Pokaan and Dolores, i.

I thought the visual novel was localized (unless the translations suck).

Meh, there's one I know for the first game, and one I know for the second game.

But I'm not sure how far the scanlations go, or how good any of the manga are.
Though I have no doubts they are better than the shitty anime.

Google Danganronpa manga, you'll find it.

OH. And if you have a good enough PC, you could try the emulator PPSSPP. It works firggin' perfectly with this, and many other games.
Or you could try it also on an Android device, because that emulator works on that too.

I thought the visual novel was localized (unless the translations suck).

The VITA port, yes. It's getting released outside Japan. The PSP version does not.

Plus, the VITA port in Japan also includes the second game, unlike the english release.
Though I wonder if the english release will have that whole "romance mode" thing that they added in VITA port.

Can you explain why the anime is [parasitic bomb], I usually spoil myself on this anyway so I don't mind spoilers.

You know how often adaptations are not faithful?

Well, this one is a strange case of "TOO [tornado fang]ing FAITHFUL" while at the same time being too fast paced, and skipping a lot.

In the game, you have quite a bit of time, to learn about the various characters. You can learn even MORE about them, if you do their special events, that earn you skills (which are ultimately useless, because the game is [acid burst] easy, but that's another story).

But the anime just basically throws that out the window. It's 13 episodes of fast paced [parasitic bomb], almost entirely copied from the game.

You know when I said "too [tornado fang]ing faithful", well... the thing is, it uses a lot of [parasitic bomb] from the game. And I don't know if that's just them being lazy, or trying to faithful but, [tornado fang].
They copy almost everything from the game itself.

The investigations however, are basically done in a super fast forward style. And during those investigations, a lot of the character interactions happen, in the game I mean.

THESE PEOPLE ARE IN SITUATION WHERE THEY ARE FORCED TO KILL EACH OTHER! AND YET THE ANiME DOES NO EFFORT TO MAKE ME CARE ABOUT THEM.
[parasitic bomb].

I know most of what I said centers around "muh chara interakshunz", but that's first biggest problem here.
The second being the stupid fast pace of episodes. 13 is clearly NOT ENOUGH.
And the third, but not last, copy and paste.

And that's all for my little rant.
I didn't even spoil anything, see? I'm good.
