Also, I kind of miss the older series already. I haven't seen much of the newer ones (Seed and up) but what I have seen... I don't really know what to think of them.

I... don't think I'm gonna go past the first Series, I mean its a perfectly fine series as is but I'd rather not watch the later stupidity with Chibiusa, the Outer Senshi, or the [tornado fang]ing Sailor Starlights or whatever.

To be fair I actually don't mind the Outers (Maybe because I never really watched the series when they were in it), but they basically come in a package deal with Chibi, so I'd rather not even bother.
The goofy backstory that Chibi has is what really bugs me about her though, nothing says "Out of Ideas" more than "Lovechild of two main characters from the future who is an annoying twat and is given more focus than deserved."

So I'm up to 23 in Gundam Seed Destiny... man those flashbacks. He's sad that his family died... I don't need to see it every episode. I get it. Well, maybe it isn't every episode... but it sure as hell feels like it.

There's so many flashbacks... so so many. Of all sorts. All over the place. Maybe I'm spoiled by the UC stuff, but the various series would have been able to survive without watching the ones that came before it. This one might be able to as well, if they took out all the freaking fluff of flashbacks.

It's just a symptom of the extreme laziness of the series. By now you've probably started to notice the same fight scene over and over again with the two mechs spinning around each other firing beams, then one chasing the other.

Just finished ep 40 of Seed Destiny... ugh. Best moment is this (even if it's for stupid reasons):

I'll finish this series, but I highly doubt I'll touch it again.

Anyway, I've changed my mind about stopping Sailor Moon after season 1. I hate Chibiusa but I'm not going to let her ruin the show for me.
Though I guess SuperS focuses more on her so that one might be skipped.

At least read a deep summary of that season, because the beginning of Sailor Stars is quite related to the Dead Moon Circus and Nehelenia from SuperS. Even though it's kinda like a filler, I liked it. But do what you want.
