Toonami is airing both Tenchi and Eureka. Why have them downloaded?

ViperAcidZX

They air late as hell on Toonami. Eureka 7 and Tenchi Muyo GXP air at 2:30 and 3:00 AM EST respectively.

They're on my DVR... I'm recording them from Toonami.

Though I have to be careful once these recordings hit double digits, I do something wrong and the DVR freaks out and crashes. Probably a massive date difference but I think my mom broke it by forcefully unplugging it once.

I'm in Vegas. Not my problem.

Okay, that makes more sense. I was just confused for a minute.

What anime am I watching? THIS

Adrenaline pumping goodness.

Anyway, The first episode is actually pretty damn good. Even had me cringe at a particular part at the ending. Apparently, it will really pick up soon if the manga is anything to go by. I cannot stress enough to watch this series in HD; HOLY [parasitic bomb] every single frame in this episode was [tornado fang]ing beautiful.

Amatiramisu

I've picked up Baccano!, and a couple new animu, including Date-A-Live (which is supposedly not about dating I dunno haven't watched it yet), and Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet what the [tornado fang] is up with that name.

Hope they're not bullshit. (Well I know Baccano! isn't but I dropped it because it was too slow before. See if I'm a little more patient this time around.)

Fxeni

Almost done with Victory Gundam.

This is still my favourite opening so far, though:

I doubt it'll change, to be honest.

Phi

I should finish After War Gundam X. Watching too many anime at once.

Yeaaaaaaaaaah that's one of my favorites as well! LOVE THAT OPENING SO MUCH!!

Sakura Leic

Kotoura-san never ceases to surprise me.
Current playthrough: Chrono Trigger and God Eater Ressurection

Amatiramisu

I'd say I wasn't impressed by that OP but I guess it's something you get used to.

Amatiramisu

That is pretty damn catchy. (Doesn't help that I'm a sucker for animu openings sung in english, although that was probably a dub op.)

My all-time favorite - if not kind of a generic one - is Cowboy Bebop's opening. Then again anything Yoko Kanno produces is sex.

Mr. Haxwell

Finished watching the 2nd season of Zero no Tsukaima. Now moving on to the 3rd.

Fear me.

Amatiramisu

Spoiler:
It gets worse.
Not to say it's unwatchable or anything but I'm near the end of that season now and it's KINDA interesting but nowhere near what season one or two put out.

Well just finished watching Elfen Lied on Netflix, I think it was somewhat okay, nothing spectacular (other than gore factor). The anime's adaptation ending was too much of a cliffhanger though...

[spoiler=Elfen Lied anime ending / manga details]I don't get how some find it tear-jerking; the anime's ending seemed more bittersweet than a tear-jerker. Lucy ended up fighting Mariko, Kurama's biological daughter and lost but survived though she lost one of her horns. Kurama shows to spend some time Mariko before they died in each others' arms. Later Lucy and Kouta spend last touchy moment together before Lucy sacrifices herself to fight off the remaining soldiers and lost her other horn. I'm guessing a day or so past since Lucy gave herself to save Kouta and Nana was able to live with Kouta and the others. Apparently someone shows up at the door, but I can guess it was Lucy since Wanta, Mayu's dog, recongized her. I'm gonna assume Lucy "died" but Nyu still lives on since that seems like a likely case.

I remember back when I was reading scanlations of manga, Lucy lost her horns at some point in the story but they grew back later. The anime also left the implications of the guy running the facility Lucy escaped from wanting to usher in "a new world" business for dicloni because revealed himself as one too and the manga might of carried on with that but it's been a long time since I read it I'll have to restart reading it from the beginning again.[/spoiler]

I heard Lynn Okamoto made a spiritual successor of sorts to Elfen Lied, I might check it out. There's still some Z.O.E Dolores, i and Smile Precure! I gotta catch up on, among other series...

Amatiramisu

I'm up to Zero no Tsukaima F. Episode one, it seems they finally made the fight scenes watchable.

Also, I'm following Attack on Titan as well.

Fxeni

Well, Victory's down. Turn A is next.

The Opening apparently goes with everything its hilarious(well not all). I'm in the same boat watching this good show.

Amatiramisu

The opening does go with everything because it's so damn good. It can turn making cheese slices into an epic battle of the knives against the gargantuan cheese square devouring it's people.

Truth. The OP amazingly fits with you avatar as well.

Fxeni

Almost done Turn A (an episode and a half left of it to be more precise). I liked it, but something definitely feels off about it somehow.

Now watching:

Date A Live

Nyaruko W

JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOJOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Eat, or be eaten...

Amatiramisu

Hataraku Maou-sama joined my list of running series I'm following. Still watching Shingeki, Gargantia, and Date-A-Live. All pretty darn good. As much as I love Hentai Ouji's manga, I've dropped the anime. Tsukiko is just... Ugh.
