Anyways, finally started InuYasha: Kanketsu-hen, up to ep14 now.
Definitely can feel the rush, with characters dying everywhere.

Saw Eva 2.22 w/ fansubs, rly NICE movie it likes keeps getting better and better for each movie they come out with.

Have to say, the way weapons appearing/evolving to defeat Naraku still felt rushed.
But, I have to say the ending was nice.

Also started K-ON!! Season 2, first 2 eps in.
Yep, just as lovable as season 1.

Right now, i'm in a Studio Ghibli mood.

For the last few days i've watched, Kiki's Delivery Service, Whisper of the Heart and Castle in the Sky (all of them were masterpieces). I swear, Ghibli is like Disney's Japanese counterpart.

Let's see here. I finished Special A. It's a wonderful show, and not as episodic as you may think in the beginning. I'm surprised everything fit together and built up to a bigger story. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a good laugh and/or those who aren't phased by noodle people.

Also I've been taking a look at Tayutama, Asu no Yoichi, Hidamari Sketch, Hell Girl, and the dub of Dragon Ball Z Kai. I knew some voices were changed in that, but I didn't know all of them. They recast Frieza of all people. In fact, they got a man (Chris Ayres) doing his voice now. I'm not complaining, I'm just so used to the feminine reptilian Linda Young version.

How long did it take for the 1st one to come out on the states dubbed?

Sorry for reply lateness, but two whole years. It wasn't released until November last year. I'm hoping we don't get 2.22 in 2011, and finally get 3.33 and FINAL in 2013.

Anyway, Funimation hasn't even obtained the rights to 2.22 apparently, according to their message boards.

Interestingly enough, 2.22 will be out here in Germany at the end of July during a convention and then available for regular sale in mid september. Why exactly did Germany get the license while America did not? It was the same with the first movie (except we're only getting 1.11 now, but only on Blu-ray, but not on DVD. Only DVD is 1.01.), which I find to be extremely wierd.

In other news, I finished Durarara!!. I must say the ending was kind of lackluster, but I'm guessing they want to save stuff for season two.

I guess Fundamation didn't get the sales it hoped to get OR maybe a lot of ppl already the the DVD or Blu-Ray by the time it was out on dub.

I also found it very interesting that Germany is gonna get WaAaAay before the USA () but since I figuered we might not even get it, I got 2.22 on Blu-Ray w/ english subs thanks to a web site refering to another website were they sold 2.22

But if dub 2.22 does come out in the States I'll still buy it just for the sake of seeing it w/ the dub.

True, still Durarara!! was a great watch.

Also managed to watch the last 2 eps of the Queen's Blade S2 specials... Finally ended... Still... Cracccccccck.

Also, Gurren Lagann Parallel Works 2. To me, it's about there with the prequel, but... Something felt left out for me. Though seeing Kittan and his sisters kick ass, and also some very impressive Gurren gattais...

Lastly, a funny OVA by the name of Tono to Issho. Seeing well-known samurai generals like Date Masamune and Oda Nobunaga going totally out of character... Priceless.
