I wonder why I wanted to remember him as being more of an aqua color.

Tell that to YuGiOh, and every other successful Anime/Game out there. You just have to pick the right fourmula and story from the games and Games/Anime do require the same thing.

It's a trend thing really, the hottest thing that's still hot is the Pokemon/Bakugan/Soul Eater/Ben 10 combo currently.

It's likely to be with Pokemon/XX/XX/XX thing again anytime soon. It's not that odd that Pokemon is still very popular in the states though.

That would leave TOO many plotholes, so I guess inafune's trying to find a way to make another series ( wich I would love ) to fill all that.

Yeah, that's what I figured too. That could be a very good reason as to why they're not making a Legends 3, despite the demand for it.

Or maybe Capcom is actually taking a page from Nintendo's book and developing the game without actually announcing it before hand until the time is right.

They could make Legends 4 after, and then 5-6-7 but this would get endless and confusing like the X series after a while, I guess its not just about money after all.

Why are people being stupid? Capcom has different development teams. The people making EXE/RnR are not the same people working on ZX or X. If anything Mega Man 9 is holding up ZX3. It's not like if EXE/RnR ended with this game they would just move onto Mega Man X9. The team would either dissolve or make a new series. The same team that made Legends went on to make EXE. Not sure if they still are continuing that way though. Legends was never popular if sales have anything to indicate. I am guessing that has more to do with the delay in Legends 3 than the new EXE game does.

Also, Capcom has like 28 DS games planned for this fiscal year. It is possible to work on more than one Mega Man game at a time you know.

What if he is not BLUE in any of those 28s ? what if he is Aqua like you said Megaman EXE was!   After all, you considered EXE being a fake Rockman because he was aqua colored.

Mega Man has had over 100 games made in less than 23 years. They have worked on more than one Mega Man game at a time.

The long rumored "Scramble Battle" could turn up sometime. A crossover covering all of the Mega Man series would be a good fit for the 25th anniversary.

I just had the most perfect idea to lead up to and celebrate the 25th anniversary, but it's so great that you just know it'll never happen.

EXE and RnR this year, team 3 consisting of ZX3 and Legends 3 the next year, then the one after that X9 and MHX2, and finally RM10 and RMRM 2 should be released exactly on Rock's 25th birthday.

More Megaman is always good.  Sure I'd rather it be ZX3 but I like the characters of the BN series but preferred the gameplay of the Star Force series, so a crossover could be the best of both worlds.  Of course it may have a whole new style of gameplay.  Though I do have an off hope that it will play like Network Transmission which got me into the BN series to begin with.

If we had perfect Navi customization, maybe then would I actually consider playing. Only downside to that is that it would probably be an MMO, one that'll probably be made whenever it is Capcom decides to get in on that territory.
