I am secretly hoping this ends up being a multi-player fighting adventure time-travel game with elements of Scramble Battle and levels with titles such as: 'ACDC Town: 3 AM,' 'Bury my PET at Wounded Knee' and 'PlanetFMbase: Where no Navi Has Gone Before.' It would be the most awesomest Rockman game ever.

Even if that doesn't turn out to be the case, I am really intrigued where they will go with it. Even though Inafune won't connect Classic and X in-depth, perhaps this is his way of throwing a bone to those who complain about the lack of intertwinement in certain series. And with how these two series can show a little more detail in the storyline, it actually is more fitting to use them first and foremost to do something different like this.

UPDATE 2: During the event, series producer, Takeshi Horninouchi announced he has several ideas for individual Rockman projects leading up to the franchise's 25th anniversary.

Soo, this is what happened when I spent a day at a spa while I was gone..? Amazing how Cappy can unexpectedly revive a series and mix it with a series that ended. "ROCKMAN EXE: SHINTO KAZE NO WAVE CROSS!!" springs to mind.

And I did see the haters and the ZX/Lengends lovers coming, go figure. At least this keeps me happy, for awhile.
