I wanted to ask, why is there a repliforce ship in MMZ1? Or is it just some kind of funky cameo?

Yeah, my best guess is it was a cameo, although story wise, it makes sense that things that were present and branded differently in the past could survive and be used in the future.

No reason to facedesk. I was wondering about this the other day. I thought it was pretty cool to see a Repliforce logo in Z1

Well If I remember right, not all of Repliforce was eradicated. Case in point the Repli Air Force airport in X5. (or something like that)

Wouldnt surprise me if there was a naval division that lasted longer.

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

I think most of the Repliforce went Maverick as well when Sigma decided it was a great idea to hit the Earth with a colony.

Flok

There's a part about Repliforce in MMZOCW, telling us that marines used the research facility near that logo in Zero 1 in the past to investigate oceanic geological features.

But in reality it's just a small cameo, like Agile in Zero 2 for example.
Flok's favorites:

Flame

Most of the remaining Repliforce went Maverick, yes, but that doesn't mean they ALL went maverick. They can very well regroup and rise back up.
