I would recommend Heart Gold since most of my friends, and myself included, are getting Soul Silver but it's your choice.

I'm getting Soul Silver and am walking down to the local Game Crazy tomorrow to pick it up. I preodered it for me and Heart Gold for my brother, but he's making me trade figures so he has Lugia and I have Ho-oh.

I've been playing Heart Gold.
And I decided on raising Pokemon I don't normally choose to raise, which is quite a lot of fun.
I never would have imagined that Parasect would be so awesome. Dry Skin totally rocks. :U

I played Gold back in the day, Japanese Gold even...I remember it like it was 10 years ago.

So it was only right that I played Heart Gold.
And thus I did.
Japanese even! And now English! (With anti-piracy lock ups to deal with!)

Also, totally gonna try to figure out setting up my Linksys for Wireless, it's not setup right now and it's bothering me that I can't do cool online stuff with my DS. (And soon to be PSP) :C

Meh, I don't really care what pokemon I can catch in it, silver is just one of my favorite colors.

Also, call me strange, but I'm gonna give my pokemon themed nicknames, such as nicknaming Normal-types after meat dishes, water-types after fruits, fire-types after predators, etc.
