Actually, no. Since DA DOES give you the embed code to remote link images, it's perfectly fine to post them here. The rule restricts itself to sites that do NOT publicly give embed codes for their images.

if youve got like 10 hotlinked images, its annoying for someone to have to quote the post to copy/drag the urls into a new tab etc. to see what you posted.
