Well, Square soft/ Square Enix has made another Final Fantasy. This one is one of their best that they have ever came up with at the drawing boards. I will refer to them as Square Enix simply because that is what the companies name is from the time this review was written. Square Enix has conspicuously had 6 other Final Fantasy's before this one and all of them were pretty good for coming out on pretty old systems. Look closely at the trailer. There are a lot of explosion effects, more detailed sprites and separate body part sprites for big bosses and Slug mechas. I'm sure SNK Playmore have tried this game on a DS first. It can definitely handle a Metal Slug game (this is how we got MS7), but I'm sure they want to make a game that doesn't lag or slowdown. And maybe it's less troublesome for them to program for the PSP? If they used the exact same sprites, tiles and backgrounds, it might slowdown the DS. >.<

Well with this game I'll have all 8 main games on the PSP, seeing how I recently downloaded Anthology.
