I have a question about this: can pirated games actually trade with regular systems? I mean, can I emulate Plat. and have whatever I catch go straight to my Pearl version?

If not, I highly doubt it'll give me a reason to go out and get Plat., since I want to get a job and (if anything) get a DSi. Then I have to find games I'd actually WANT to play on the DS, so until a good handful come out, I doubt I'll be getting a new handheld soon.

You people and your piracy...
TRADING WITH YOURSELF IS THE WAY TO GO :W

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

Better question, WHY THE [tornado fang] DON'T THEY EVER USE THE WIFI MYSTERY GIFT THEY HAVE IN THE GAME?!

I freaking hate that myself too. It just pisses me off so much the fact that people are forced to have go to a toy-r-us in the US. Unless you really actually live close to one in one of the major cities like phoenix, los angelos, las vegas or new york. :(

But in japan, you dont gotta step foot out of your room or house at all whatsoever because the wifi will connect to the servers automatically without forcing people to  go to specific locations in the country, or to certain stores.....but never like that for america..... i can't help it how infintely mad that concept makes me. NOT in a way that "only the japanese are allowed cause it's closer or something" ..i just mean i think it's totally 100% unfair with the US's rules.

the pirated version can even go online on wifi.

That gets you angry.

Having to go out instead of being able to obtain a pokemon without leaving your house gets you angry.

You get angry over that.

Just... just think about this.

Well, I learned something new today:  A shiny Nidoking technically counts as cross-dressing.

I think it has to do more with the fact that Toys-R-Us only ever seems to be in highly populated places, or very far off on the road. If it was something like Wal-Mart giving them out, then either: A. the comment wouldn't exist, or B. the comment becomes especially sad. Let's face it, TRU is never around in the area, it's always off some distance and only a small handful of people who care live near it, or only the most obsessed Pokemon fans are going to drive to there. As for Wal-Mart, they're everywhere, even in a freakin' hicksville that I'm living in.

Where they're available doesn't matter. What matters is that someone is getting angry over pokemon. Getting angry over pokemon? Not cool. Noooooooot cool.

There was a day early launch party at Nintendo World in New York today... but that is not the main story here. THIS IS!

Quote from: Pokemon DatabaseAccording to our source who just attended the Nintendo World Store launch party event, there was a significant amount of drama. First we would like to point out that the flyer posted on Bulbapedia was fake. The third line regarding the Mystery Gift was intentionally photoshopped by a member of their site in an effort to create his/her own event. Throughout the event there were announcements through the Nintendo World Store speakers NOT to download any Mystery Gifts as they will CORRUPT your game. A rotund, bearded, and generally unkempt individual dressed as a Team Rocket grunt was escorted out of the event by security for distributing a very hacked level 100 shiny Gengar from Lovely Place. There were at least 2 reported Wi-Fi Mystery Gift signals at the event which ended about one hour ago.

Bonus points? Here's the guy.

Apparently, the Pokemon didn't corrupt carts as so much it was named "Niggar" and had apparently a move set to accentuate the stereotype (I haven't seen it posted anywhere, sadly.)

But god damn, I am laughing at this. XD

Descriptions may vary from person to person, but he largely fits the bill, no?

Solar

Ok, that was just sad XD I do wonder how he did it though.

I ain't mad about the game(s) themself exactly, more rather what ballade said. The closest toy'r'us from me is about 300-400+ miles away. :\

Gotham Ranger

I probably won't be getting this for the fact that I don't play Pearl anymore and i don't feel like having to go through the game again.

Then again, thats the only time one player Pokemon is fun is going through the game.
