As much as I'm going to be labeled a cheating bastard for saying this: PKM Database.

I already got my 100% fair and square Cherish Ball Dragonite, that's the only reason I need step foot in Toys R Us for the foreseeable future.  I'm not running in there every time a new promotional 'man rears its head (that and it's just collection purposes anyway; my team is in its final form and Shaymin isn't changing that).

Better question, WHY THE [tornado fang] DON'T THEY EVER USE THE WIFI MYSTERY GIFT THEY HAVE IN THE GAME?!

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

Wi-Fi? What is "Wi-Fi"? I live in the boonies, someone explain this to me!

Tickle Buffalo

Internet battlan/tradan/mystery giftan. Though I'm pretty certain there's only been one mystery gift distributed over wifi, and that was Platinum only. That key to open the door to lawnmower Rotoms.

Solar

You forgot the key to Darkrai, but again, Platinum only.

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

Tickle Buffalo

Oh, they put that out? I haven't really been paying attention to Platinum related things, so I guess that slipped past me.

Solar

Mark March 22 in your calendars because that's the day when you'll get to spend even more money on a game you already own with some modifications AKA Platinum =D

Or if you're me, add it to your Cyclo DS Evolution and you're done, no more money spent.

I might be if I ever get my new guys trained, but I'm not sure if that'll ever happen, let alone soon. Sorry.

Hypershell

Well, I've always got my Doubles team ready to kick some tail.

Same can be said of Battle Revolution.

You mean it hasn't? Oh come on, if any Pokemon game deserves the price drop it's Battle Revolution. Seriously, even if D/P are still full price they are actually pretty good, unlike BR which shouldn't have been full price to begin with IMO (no minigames/playing DP on your TV no buy =/).

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

STM

Pokemon titles are notorious for being inelastic in price. I think the GBA games are still going for $30.

Solar

Hey, look who FINALLY exists officialy.

Oh, and it's now comfirmed that you'll get the Giratina figure if you pre-order Platinum. Cool.

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

Dr. Wily II

FFFFFFFF at special movie giveout.
And great, I'm getting my Giratina without the need for preorder. 8D

Yep, still $50.  I wouldn't care about the lack of minigames/DP on TV if the single-player game itself was of some worthwhile substance.  But the majority of the matches are entirely too easy for anyone who raises their own 'mans, Stargazer Level 50 excepted (and even that's only the last two or three rounds).  And in the rare event the game does get challenging it does so on a very sharp spike (Sunset Colosseum is pretty brutal).  There's no real "curve" to the difficulty level, it's usually really easy and occasionally really hard.

Battle Revolution is, like Mario Kart Wii, a game you get to play online.  It's a shame because I love the trainer customization, but there's just not enough content to the title.
