The funniest part about this is since my first experience with Super Mario World was Super Mario Advance 2, i keep thinking you could have +100 lives if you did well enough in World 1.

I don't play Mario often, Super Mario Bros. 3 was my favourite though.
Never owned a SNES, so my experience with Super Mario World is short lived and lacking.
I'm sure if I played it now, all emulated of course, I wouldn't do to bad.
But I'm sure I'd still get a game over at least once.

I disagree, ProtoMAN is not easy mode. He has weaknesses such as double damage, that force you to learn the stage MUCH better, so as not to get hit. Also, all of his items are more expensive.
