Fences are cool, but you have to make it obvious it's a fence. Don't ask me how, I don't know that either =w=;

So what did you think about Monster Tale?

I loved it myself, it's a fun Metroidvania with a mix of different moves, like climbing walls, dashing and buster charging attacks (like in MMX).

I also ripped the soundtrack from the game and posted at hcs64 forums.

Cute Mega Man and Metool in the MT style by the way. ^^

Megaman's going through C+C right now on another fourm (TSR), and the raptor's going through some improvements itself, which I'm trying to make it more "raptor-like" and keep the cartoony aspects of the style, at the same time without throwing off the poportions and making the raptor sprite less like the namco x capcom base I used as a refrence origionally, though I plan to keep the tail of the namco x capcom counterpart.

PS: I've sprited styles from games before I even played them before (Prinny, Disgaea, and a few other games too)!

Albiet some heavy C+C for Rock (the one in the blue box, the red one is mien), the Velociraptor went through heavy changes to help it look nice. I still need to change it's head, tail, and feet to help fit the body. Got any suggestions from (any) experts here?

Well, after attempting that style once I must've incorporated KSS into the (new) style, I pretty much threw whatever style I attempted to sprite (with Monster Tale being the last for it's smoothness and head size) in before in a blender and this is what came out.

I might have to fix the cop's issue with his right leg though, shading looks a bit off. D:

@Walking sprite: The body and the head should be moving as well as the legs, people bop up and down when they move since having our legs apart makes us shorter and their bodies turn left and right a bit depending on which leg is forward.

Suggestions for your Firebrand:

Either make his legs longer or his torso shorter. He is very disproportional at the moment.

It still looks disproportionate, and the muscles are too blocky right now. It also misses the slightly hunchback pose the original has, I'd lower the head a bit and reduce the size of the waist.

One of my favorite RM designs out of this whole site; Phantom Man in Mega Man Xtreme style. I guess spriting in this style for so long does pay off after all eh?

Obviously, I wanted to see what Dragoon here looked like in 8-bit. Now, he was tricky here thanks to the PSX's additional color display. Oh well.
