Ho-ly crap. THAT is what you can achieve with Mugen! Loved the X, Sonic, Crono, and Chocobo bits in there too. This looks like it'll be an actually good Mugen game for once with the amount of work going into it to make it that original. *gives a Falcon Thumbs-Up*

It is a fan-made game, a very good one at that.
Still under development, though was recently updated with a new trailer.
The creator has a DA account here.

It's the same thing, Shaomu is jus the phonetic version as X's in mandarin are said like S's (or Z's).

From the FAQ on the site;

Quote

Q: How many characters will have the complete game?
A: We plan to make 36 playable characters, but other characters will appear in a non playable manner, such as backcground elements or strikers/helpers of the playable characters

A: NO. That would be almost impossible since there are tons of characters in the Card Gallery thus there won't be hundreds of playable characters

Ah well that's too bad but understandable.

Balancing that many characters would be an impossible feat.
