It's the same thing, Shaomu is jus the phonetic version as X's in mandarin are said like S's (or Z's).

From the FAQ on the site;

Q: How many characters will have the complete game?
A: We plan to make 36 playable characters, but other characters will appear in a non playable manner, such as backcground elements or strikers/helpers of the playable characters

Q: Are you going to put all the characters in the Card Gallery in CSW?
A: NO. That would be almost impossible since there are tons of characters in the Card Gallery thus there won't be hundreds of playable characters
