Hmmm, Tales of VS? very interesting....

And a port of ToV? to PS3? with more stuff? skeptic, but if it's true... Hell Yeah!

Another tales game, another pirate loli. Yes, I am referring to Chatty (Don't exactly remember the name, but she's from Tales of Destiny).
you mean Chat and shes from Tales of Eternia not Destiny

It pretty much is. A lot of major outlets picked up the stories. I'm just waiting for official word it's making its way over the U.S.

Still, I'd have liked Flynn as a playable character more than a random new character. All he really needs is a bit of an attack speed up and he already has playable character data in-game. I guess I'm just used to having two sword users in a team (Lloyd/Zelos [or Kratos... usually Zelos], Guy/Luke [...sometimes Asch], and here, Yuri/Flynn.)

Thing is, depending on how this new girl plays, I may just leave her rotting away in the back of the party and stick with my usual team of Yuri, Estelle, Rita and Raven. They're a pretty sick combination there.

Change Raven into Repede and we're set.  8D

I was right. Wonder why she wasn't implemented in time.

Hmm, nice foreshadowing there.

Probably because "Scamco" (as the company is sometimes called on GAF 8D) had the foresight to know that they were going to do something with that character/concept any way, it was more of a thing of just a matter of time and how they were going to implement her.

Fxeni

If Tales of VS. doesn't have Cless, I will personally go to Japan and burn down Bamco. That is all.

Somehow, I don't think that's it. I imagine the game wasn't as finished as it could have been. Look at the PS2 version of Symphonia versus the Gamecube one and the amount of differences there. Of course, if this is stemming from GAF logic (or lack thereof), I'm not surprised and will largely ignore it.

Here's the thing... I don't see how the hell she'll fit into the game aside from being another mostly useless child character (never been a fan of them... this includes Presea [too slow], Anise [too chirpy], and Karol [too slow and chirpy.] I'm hoping we can at least get that mary-sue, Flynn, in the party instead. He seems to have the potential to be a much more lethal fighter if he had a larger move pool (this is drawing from his move pool as a boss, not when you play as him in that one event.) He seems to be similar to how Asch fought in Abyss, where he was based of the Magic Swordsman class. Perhaps giving him a few spells and some of the traditional Tales of moves (Lightning Tiger Blade? Hell Fire?) will help?

Also, someone needs to have Indignation as a mystic arte. I'm calling either Rita or Judith.

Gaia

I personally perfer the monster characters I mind you, 'specially boss characters. They always give a "[tornado fang] you" feeling everytime they beat the crap outta you when you are in a low level, but once you reach a certain level, tides are turned and you have that feeling inside that you just defeated Airman.. =D

Hopefully the DS and the PS3 games would be my first few non-emulaited "Tales" games.

One mention of LEGENDS and everyone goes batshit.  :\

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

It got really messy to find my sprite and comic topic, so it's in my sig.

Vesperia was fully completed. The staff even said so ages ago. The new character is simply there because the sony [Top Spin]s kept bitching that they wanted somthing special, so the new loli. Just like Trusty Bell/Eternal Sonota also had new characters added. And most likely so will SO4 for PS3.

New info from Famitsu.
http://www.famitsu.com/blog/express/

VERSUS is confirmed to have 35 playable characters.

And by sonyfags reffering to Sony themselves.

Just tagging this on to your post:

-Patty Fleur is 14.
-Main scenario is fully voiced
-New event scenes and sub scenes (basically new story scenes and sidequests scenes)
-Additional elements are planned (pretty sure this means new costumes, new skills, etc.)
-A whole script book got added, bringing it from 5 to 6.
     -Sword Dancer added?
     -Repede has costumes.
-Yuri and Flynn have a joint Hi Ougi: Bujinsoutenha
-Karol's second Hi Ougi is also shown
-Some new scenes and FMVs it seems.

Lol, did I see a infant Repede there?

Cool join Hi-ougi there by Yuri and Flynn (and Karol hi ougi too).

And there is a boss now on the ghost ship, not some pitiful weak ghosts.

STM

Yeah, I was expecting a boss there too. Three ghosts just seems... anti-climactic.

I'll get VERSUS~ ^.^

Same. With 35 characters, they had OUGHTA make it so every game should have like 2-3 reps each. Obviously, for the sake of characters like Leon/Judas, they can just get costume changes.

I'm also looking forward to Graces, the more I hear about it.

Releasing: This Winter
Genre: "Understand the Power to Protect RPG"
-Main character is Asbel Lhant. 18 Years old, from the Lhant territory of the Windol Country.
-Uses the Style Shift Linear Motion Battle System, which lets characters have more than one fighting style. You can set skills to the A and B button on the Wii remote.
-Sidestepping allows movement in a 360 degree angle around the enemy and other maneuvers.
-Compatible with the Classic Controller Pro.
-Animation scenes done by Production I.G. like always

Style changes? They really ARE trying to make sure they cover EVERY single fighting game system convention out there, aren't they? 8D

At this point, I'm almost "worried" that the Tales series will stand to exhaust all of them, before the FG devs can design more new ones.  :V

Ephidiel

now i have to buy the classic controller pro.
and a ps3 for ToV now buy or not to buy the 360 version if they even release it now

Acid

If you don't mind japanese, you can get the JAP version of ToV PS3.

Blu-Ray games aren't region locked if I recall correctly.

Style changes, huh? Sounds kickass to me. Both Graces and VS sound very intruiging, and I'll probably end up picking up both at some point.

Versus won't show up. They have no interest in the US market. Bandai doesn't see a large profit from the US PSP fanbase. Which is why they're not bringing RM2 either.

That because most of the good stuff doesn't make it's way here, unfortunately. Then they wonder why no one buys anything.
