I know a similar pain, having stalked the Mother 4 project since... 2012? Or something like that. But unlike Corrupted, there still really isn't any actual update, footage, or demo that proves it isn't vaporware.

Honestly, I feel it's going to take a couple of more years. It's not in development hell but it's in a situation where they really need to set a limit on the scope so the project can actually get done.

But I do remember that the first game I ever owned was Rescue Rangers on NES. That or Tom & Jerry. Memory is a bit fuzzy on what came first and what my parents handed to me on the store, but the memory of the Rescue Rangers box is a bit more vivid.
