Resolution is fine. Wallpaper aspect ratio is DEFINITELY NOT.
The picture is stretched, to be honest.
Resize it manually to a better size or find a new one that fits.

Try finding decent wallpaper at 1680 x 1050. Most of my wallpaper I either manually crop so it'll scale properly, make it myself, or just use an image that just so happens to have the right aspect ratio.

I just installed Stardock Fences, which helps people with icons cluster fucks on their desktop. I'd recommend it
In my mind a desktop is only good for a background.
I use my desktop as a temporary file dump. The only icon that's allowed to stay on it is the Recycle Bin.
Recycle bin is the most important one after all.
I don't really need My Computer up there, I don't use so I'll be taking that off.
My Malware and Spyware stuff stays as a reminder.
And all that other stuff is quick launch stuff.
All my stuff gets launched from the Run prompt, thanks to a couple of sneaky shortcuts. My desktop is ALWAYS clean, not even the Recycling Bin is there, as I almost never use it -- I delete all my files permanently, WHEN I delete them (which I usually don't unless they're really not useful anymore).
Double clicking the desktop hides the icons, but having it completely clean kind of defeats the purpose of the desktop.

I use BlackXP21 and Sabayon Linux.
Vista is a piece of [parasitic bomb], I will not touch it.
I just removed Windows Blinds from BlackXP so it's only got whatever else is packed with it, instead of custom looks.
And yes, I broke Linux.
Basically if I boot into it right now, I just get the console, as the overlay and GUI don't boot, it's missing.
Linux is so customizable, and lets me poke and prod around in so many ways, I end up doing too much and breaking it...
My bad.
Reinstall the UI package then. apt-get should do the job nicely.
It's Sabayon Linux not Ubuntu, and I have to format the partition and install Sabayon again, cause I can't get any commands to work from the console this way, it doesn't accept anything. >_>

I did not enjoy the performance that came with Kubuntu.
Sabayon Linux 4 had amazing performance on my shitty machine, but still tons of bugs. (PJ says that 3.5 is still much better.)
But this here Fedora 10, defaults to Gnome, I installed KDE4 though, so it let's me choose my Session type when I log in.
Then it shows what I had on my Gnome desktop up in that little fence area, which is neat-o.
So far Fedora 10 is my favourite distro.
Only 1 problem and it was MY FAULT!

So I stretched it, big deal, looks fine on my comp(to me at least). The only reason I do that is cause I hate having those empty boxes next to the pics if it's not the exact same size as the monitor. And yes, I have a Wide Screen monitor like Flame said.

Like I said, I'd rather have it stretched, I don't know why but it's always bugged me when there are those black areas to the left and right(or top and bottom) of the pic. Besides, this thread isn't for whining about Aspect Ratio, it's for showing others what you are currently using for a Wallpaper. So just get over it and move on.
Edit- Oh, and so you know I have a 1360x768 Screen Resolution, it's pretty damn hard to find a wallpaper that actually fits that size.(don't know the size of my Monitor tho sadly, it's been awhile since I got it and I've forgotten.)

Well, guess what: there's such a thing as the CROP tool, and there's such a thing as Bicubic Smooth Resampling for ENLARGING images. The solution to your problem would be to, while maintaining aspect ratio, resize the width of your wallpaper to match your screen width, then CROP the area you want specifically sized to meet your desktop's resolution.
Sometimes, style IS everything. And I honestly don't get how the aspect ratio doesn't murder your eyes.
Hey, I've never heard of Bicubic Smooth Resampling. And really, it doesn't, I honestly don't look at my desktop half the time, and when I do it's usually briefly. But it just doesn't bother me in the least. As long as I have something that looks halfway decent(which I think it does) I'm fine with it.
Bicubic and Bilinear resampling exist on many photo and video editing programs (Photoshop and VirtualDubMod is two of them). They give specific smoothing and/or sharpening effect when you have resized your image. Bicubic is very good, especially on VirtualDubMod, when you want the image to look clear, not so blurry and still get the screen-size you want. ^^
Oh yea, there's also Pixel Size resampling too.
Paint Shop Pro 7 has it and it's excellent for sprites (just remember the 200% / 50% resizing rule).
That is, if you don't use MS Paint of course, because you can do it there too. X3

Right click the image window > Resize image > Check "Constrain Proportions" > Resampling: Bicubic Smoother > Width: your screen width.
Then Resize Canvas to the height of your desktop, and adjust the visible area as desired.

Bitches don't know about my resizing by seam carving (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6NcIJXTlugc), but you need Photoshop CS4 or some GIMP add-on. Actually, I had to make a program that did that sort of resizing for school, but I'd have to translate its already unintuitive and ugly GUI to English, and it's unefficient as hell, it's programmed in Java, only supports JPG and GIF, etc, etc, etc.

I think I found a desktop for my laptop whenever I get one. Small because display size right? gotta click that image on his site to make it bigger~
Small because 2 reasons.
1, my screen is [tornado fang]ing big, too wide. so it will look pixelated and stretched if I chose "stretch"
2, I prefer it in the middele like that, otherwise its too big and she is partially obscured by icons.
I actually kinda like having just the pic in the middel and a solid color (that matches the pics BG) around it. I actually tried making it bigger by a little bit in Photoshop, but I saw I liked it better like that.

I found my sidebar through google, but the download ended up sending me to DeviantART, so you could check their for the Vista to XP sidebar thingy. :U
I have vista. lol. For once it actually comes in handy. (not that theres anything really wrong with vista aside from the start menu not cascading)
And Vista is a resource hog.

I won't doubt that Vista has cleaned up a bit since it's initial release though, but even with just the RC, I much preferred Seven.

What I'd like to see with all this goings on is layered APNG support.
We don't even have single layered animataion support. I vaguely remember getting a GIF running on 95 though.
If decoding the PNG info is too much, we can just have RGBA BMPs or something with frames inside a single file, like ABMP.

I'm not running Windows 7. I'm running Windows Vista. Because this laptop sucks, but it's all I have right now. And there are no good themes for Windows Vista that don't require hacking the operating system itself to run. Kind of like Windows XP.
Microsoft really, really does not like people customizing the appearance of their OS...

It was made to be runnable on 512 MB.
Its not much but it'll work.
Though I don't think they have Vista themes anywhere.

As far as I'm aware, the biggest selling point of The Third Birthday was the DLC code for the Aya outfit for Lightning in Duodecim Dissidia.
People didn't have much to say about the game itself.
It really is not that good as the others PE were but its a funny game.

With lots of frames to distract the eyes. I pick the pitch black frames on my GBA Player and Super GB.
My frames are a blackish color anyway. Dont bother me. And sometimes some of my games don't like to cooperate when I try to Alt Tab them or minimize them at all from full screen.

Wait why didn't you just let the computer resize it automatically and keep the unedited image?
Because then I'd end up with black borders or something like on my laptop (Which I didn't resize). I don't like the auto-resize because of that reason. I just usually pop it in photoshop and edit it to my own resolution. Doesn't take more than a minute. Looks better too.
None of my Desktop wallpapers ever fit the screen perfectly but the autoresize did its job well, so I never had to make modifications to images unless they got oddly distorted, and that only happened when I had a 4:3 monitor so I'd just crop it, now that I upgraded to a 16:10 monitor I don't need to do that anymore.
I guess since I use Display fusion now it just works better so I don't even use the tools Windows has to offer anymore.
Ah well, whatever works I guess.

I don't think I've mentioned this but I switched my desktop to Ubuntu. Not a fan of the lack of programs and games, but GOD DAMN is this a fast and stable OS. Boots at least twenty times faster than Windows did and nothing breaks if an update goes wrong.
I might just install Windows to a flash or something for gaming though.

The EO wallpaper does indeed look great on the tablet, but I feel ZTD wouldn't work out on my phone, because it would be cropped only on Diana.
Personally, I want to see the cast, not one character.
EO is gorgeous enough that I don't mind seeing just the MC.
It's more because the ZTD picture there is Vertical with EO5 is shown as Horizontal really but yeah if the entire ZTD picture could not be resized to fit your Phone I totally agree.

My Windows 10 desktop. Not too fond of the smaller taskbar icons and Start Menu buttons Windows 10 uses, but a few programs (7+ Taskbar Tweaker and good ol' Classic Shell) and an alternative Windows 8.1 Start Menu icon is making it feel like 7 and 8.1 again.
