I change backgrounds almost as often as my Avatars. Someone needs to invent a rotator background for windows, like Macs have.

i saw the image as a desktop BG that some guy on youtube had in his vid, and I liked it, so I searched for it, and got myself this.

Windows 7 has something like that. Although I personally don't use it since it fucks up my Framerate for a sec when playing a fullscreen game

Well, at least you won't be straining your eyes as much (assuming you like to "desktop" for the majority of the time you're using the computer).

What I'd like to see with all this goings on is layered APNG support.
We don't even have single layered animataion support. I vaguely remember getting a GIF running on 95 though.

If decoding the PNG info is too much, we can just have RGBA BMPs or something with frames inside a single file, like ABMP.

98 too. You could have desktop gifs.
I forgot how though. but I think they were stored as offline web images or something.
