Okay, true reboot time here. Yeah I always reset my character, hush. And this is tailored towards usage with a Digimon, so it's a bit specialized.
Name: Taylor Lyndis
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Appearance: 5'0", 165 pounds, a little chubby, extremely curly strawberry-blonde hair, hazel eyes, small build (small hands, feet, etc), wears a pair of black jeans with a white shirt featuring an image of headphones on the front. Always wears a purple cap with purple headphones; headphones are either on her head or around her neck.
Persona: She's happy-go-lucky and enjoys making jokes about the situation at hand; however she'll do a 180 and become rather protective and serious when her friends are in danger. She's also a bit nerdy due to her love of video games. Lastly, she's also a bit of a pyromaniac, something that seems to have manifested when she entered the Digital World and found her Digimon.
Belongings: She carries around a messenger back, in which contains some pens, a sketchbook she uses for random notes and doodles, along with some extra batteries for her music player. After all, those headphones aren't for nothing. There are also countless crumbs and a Nintendo DS, which is busted due to the mass amount of digital interference around her. And the crumbs; those crumbs get EVERYWHERE. In addition, there are a bunch of random other things inside the bag that serve no greater significance aside from the fact that Taylor shoved a bunch of random other things inside the bag.
Crest: Creativity
Bio: Taylor always preferred the company of a few close friends more than having a large group of them. Throughout most of her school years, she was fortunate enough to keep the same core group of friends, and she was happy about that. But as high school approached, everything started to change. Financial situations went awry, employees were moved to other branches without warning, and other such things happened to the parents of her close friends. And with these events, her friends were ripped away from her. It wasn't long at all before she was the only one left.
The more her friends moved away, the more introverted Taylor seemed to become. She stayed holed up in her room for days on end sometimes, messing around on her computer and playing games all the time. One summer day she was surfing on the internet after getting home from a forest adventure. She had gotten home minutes before and was still in what she called her "Adventure Attire," and was checking her email when a strange message came up. Curious as to what it was (it certainly didn't look like anything she'd ever seen before), she clicked. And just like that, she was zapped to cyberspace.
What she found within was a world she had only dreamed of before. She marveled at the wondrous biomes within this digital world, and explored. However, a giant red beetle (that jerk Kuwagamon) started flying over. Before it could attack, another strange beast leapt from the bushes and knocked her into some other bushes. It hastily introduced itself as HeatGabumon and the two hit it off quickly.
HeatGabumon told Taylor that the giant bug was Kuwagamon, and that it wasn't safe where they were. So they fled without rhyme nor reason. Taylor was simultaneously frightened and exhilirated, which is a rather odd combination of feelings. Regardless, they kept running and running until they came to a dead end. Rising in front of them was a large cliff face, and in the distance Kuwagamon's cries grew louder. Taylor looked at HeatGabumon and something passed between them, an idea unspoken and a plan unsaid. Kuwagamon appeared in front of them, irritated that its intended prey had eluded it for that long. Taylor just happened to have some rope in her bag, a leftover from climbing trees, and bunched up one end into a large knot. Suddenly, Kuwagamon appeared, angry at its elusive dinner. As it reared to attack, HeatGabumon set the knot on fire and Taylor smacked the huge bug with it. Kuwagamon stumbled backwards, and Taylor kept on smacking him in the face with it. As she was doing this, HeatGabumon was pelting him with repeated fire. It wasn't long at all before Kuwagamon flew away in disinterest; any food that caused that much pain and trouble wasn't worth hunting.
Taylor and HeatGabumon celebrated the victory, but it turned out to be a hollow one. After all, as far as Taylor knew, that message was a one-way ticket to whatever place she now found herself in. As she checked her bag for something that might get her home, she found a strange purple device. It was roughly octagonal with a screen in the middle. She shrugged and shoved it in her pocket; the fact that it had appeared so randomly and that she had never seen it before was odd, but she had played enough games to know that mystically-appearing items were usually important.
As she briefly glanced over at HeatGabumon, something unsaid passed between them, and she knew what she had to do.
She had to explore this world, and trust in her new partner. That was the only chance, albeit slim, that she may be able to return home. With that, the two set off on a quest that Taylor had only dreamed of before...
The two went on many adventures together and grew quite close, but unfortunately HeatGabumon was deleted in a large battle. Taylor was devastated, and lost her will to do much. As time went on, the loss began to sting less and less, and Taylor began to slowly return to the world of the living. She took frequent trips outside the city for the peace and quiet, and occasionally heard tales.
Then, one day, 3 years to the day after HeatGabumon's deletion, she got a message. They didn't leave a name, but they said they were leaving the DigiEgg of HeatGabumon at a certain karaoke bar...
Her heart leapt at the prospect of her friend returning to her, and she quickly set off to the only karaoke bar she knew of. First though, she had to return to the city.

Digimon Personality: HeatGabumon is usually bashful, but he has a somewhat short fuse as well. These two things combine to give him a somewhat bipolar personality. Sometimes he's calm and exhibits some pacifist tendences, and other times he just wants to beat the crap out of whatever Digimon gets in his way. However, due to his normally-shy demeanor, he doesn't pull it off that well and ends up coming off rather comedic. Regardless, he sticks up for those in need and won't hesitate to back down from a fight if it's worth fighting.
Other:
- Taylor enjoys whistling, something that HeatGabumon tries to imitate but often struggles with
- HeatGabumon is fascinated by Taylor's messenger bag, often marveling at how many things Taylor pulls out of it. He just doesn't realize that Taylor shoved a bunch of random things INTO it and that it's not a mystical portal of some sort.
- Taylor and HeatGabumon share a very close link as a result of the Kuwagamon encounter; as such, it is not always necessary for the two to have verbal exchanges. Usually the two can exchange thoughts and feelings (and also plans) through looking each other in the eyes.
Okay, now for my Pokémon RP character.
Name: Taylor Lyndis
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Appearance: 5'3", 185 pounds, a little chubby, extremely curly strawberry-blonde hair, hazel eyes, small build (small hands, feet, etc), wears a pair of blue jeans with a purple T-shirt, a sky blue thermal with white spots has its long sleeves peek out from beneath the shirt, a violet Pokétch is on her left wrist.
Persona: She's happy-go-lucky and enjoys making jokes about the situation at hand; however she'll do a 180 and become rather protective and serious when her friends are in danger. She's also a bit nerdy due to her love of video games. She shares a tight bond with all her Pokémon, something she cherishes.
Belongings: She carries around a messenger back, which contains some notepads with info scribbled all over them and some pens, along with some random emergency food supplies. She wears a purple Pokétch on her left wrist, and a jacket wrapped around her waist. She carries a collapsible walking stick, which folds up small enough to fit into the bag.
Bio: Taylor was always a free spirit, one who seeked adventure. Though she was born somewhere northwest of the Orre region, she grew up in the beautiful Kalos wilderness near the foothills of one of the many mountain ranges in the area. It was here that Taylor discovered her first Pokémon. When she was 9 she was exploring the forest one day close to her house and heard some pained whimpering echoing around her. Feeling like something needed to be done, she followed the whimpering until she found its source: a young Litleo, lost and injured. His front paws were burned badly and the fur had long since turned to ash and floated away on the breeze. Though it was weak, it let Taylor get close, likely sensing something about her. Taylor carefully lifted up and carried the wounded cub back to her house, where (after a little explaining to her parents) she was allowed to help nurse the little guy back to health. Naturally, the Litleo was thankful for the help after it was fully healed, and from then on the two were inseparable. When she was 16, she left to travel the world with her Litleo and see new Pokémon. She started by touring the Kalos region to see its many splendors.
Along the way, she managed to befriend a Froakie that was hopping around in a dried up pond, needing water to relax in. She also found a Pancham blocking her way through a dense forest; it tried to glare at her but she managed to wield a mightier one. She also ended up in an old cavern one rainy night, taking shelter from the storm. In the process, she explored the cave and found what looked to be an ancient abode of some sort; finding a bed still intact, she slept and had quite a dream involving a haunted sword. When she woke up, there was a Honedge next to her, and the blue cloth was close to her arm. She remained perfectly still, apologizing for disturbing the place and hoping that it would leave soon; she didn't particularly feel up to having her energy drained away. It was a tense few moments that were over quickly when the Honedge's cloth hit her in the chest; the impact shocked her into temporary paralysis, and the cloth remained there for a few seconds before removing itself. However, this was still long enough for her to pass out. When she came to, she found the Honedge's hilt in her hand, and the cloth floated harmlessly away from her bare skin. Taking this as a sign, she strapped the Honedge to her side (it didn't complain), and left the cave. After this, she managed to explore several other regions, but always with that same group of four. They all bonded together, and by the time they wound up in this region, they were incredibly close.
Pokémon:
- Kovu
SPECIES: Litleo
TYPE: Fire/Normal
MOVES: Noble Roar (reduces enemy's ATK/S. ATK), Flamethrower, Ember, Tackle
(His name is from The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride, in which Kovu is one of the main characters)
- Darunia
SPECIES: Pancham
TYPE: Fighting
MOVES: Parting Shot (reduces enemy's ATK/S. ATK, user retreats from battle), Pound, Glare (not the actual move, he just glares at the opponent which usually has no effect)
(Pancham's evolution is Pangoro. Goro makes me think of Gorons, and therefore, Darunia)
- Bobert
SPECIES: Froakie
TYPE: Water
MOVES: Bubble, Quick Attack, Pound, Bounce
(I name starters Bobert sometimes)
- Steve
SPECIES: Honedge
TYPE: Steel/Ghost
MOVES: Swords Dance, Cut, Slash
(A friend was playing Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and forged Steve, the Pink Sword of Doom. Since Honedge is a sword, I thought I'd name it after that fabled weapon my friend made once)
[I guessed on some moves that would be learned, and if it turns out that those moves can't be used by those Pokémon, I'll just have them stop using them and find suitable replacements]
