Yeah the surface was too smooth, it's polished ceramic. The paint was acrylic.

Yeah, if you don't rough the surface up a bit, you'd end up having to use a ceramic glaze and refire it.

If you have any fine-grain sandpaper (any fine grain will do), just give the bank a good buff to rough it up. This is going to be messy, so either do it outside, or somewhere where you can easily clean up all the dust. Try not to breathe the dust, either. You don't have to rough it up a lot, just enough to give the paint a decent surface.

Once that's done, you should be able to paint it without too much trouble. If the surface is still too smooth, sand it down a bit more.

Honestly it wouldn't even be that big of a deal normally.

But I bought the bundle with a Gamecube controller and adapter. Mostly because my current Gamecube controller's beat to [parasitic bomb] and I can't obtain one of those nice white ones they released when the Wii came out originally that had a longer cable.

People call October "Broketober", [tornado fang] that, November (and December too even) is where your wallet goes to die. (This month alone is three games ($40, $100, and $80), two anime releases ($60 and $50), and a $40 figure.)

I'm not quite sure what I'm gonna do regarding picking the game up. Nintendo World is gonna be open a whole 24 hours starting Thursday. It officially releases at 9PM. Sooooooooo I could wait on line to pick it up OR just go at like 4-5AM and pick it up then. I'm leaning more towards the super late pickup, because with the combination of Smash & Pokemon, it's going to be chaos.

Buuuuuut they're giving out stuff on Thursday. I don't know what.

I had Pokemon preordered but cancelled it in favor of Persona Q. I'll just pick it up later on, I'm not in a big rush to play pokemon again.

(Good thing we didn't get a Limited Edition or else I'd have bought it too. They know how to abuse my weaknesses AND IT WORKS D:.)

Honestly after they cut the most interesting things from X/Y out of ORAS and I'm just not really up to dedicating so much time to Pokemon again after pumping so much time into HGSS and not wanting to put through the effort to push those Pokemon through the generations (Seriously, [tornado fang] that stupid Gen 4-Gen 5 "Minigame").

My mom's knee is giving her trouble, it seems she pulled a muscle or tore something so she has trouble bending it, but she said she is getting better. She said it might take a week or 3 to heal.

Tetris: Type A - Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Can't believe I never heard this until now. Tetris: Type A theme done by the Kingdom Hearts composer. Only found out about it from the Smash 4 sound test I'm on, right now.

I can just imagine Sora running around and fighting heartless with tetris blocks falling down... TETRIS WORLD IN KH3 PLEASE
