So I was thinking of getting back into Gundam Wing since I remembered I left off at episode 12 after Heero used the self-destruct......and man I really didn't  realize how bad the dub sounds, and I usually like dubs.  Especially Trowa's sister, I mean I can excuse Heero and Trowa but not his sister.

Admittedly sometimes I do too but not that long, but I'm just mad at the writers for the game.  I still think the writting is terrible.

Usually, I can forgive a game for bad narrative, if the gameplay is good. The classic Sonic games are still among my favorites, along with Adventure 2.

And there's also the Bayonetta series. Dreadful [tornado fang]ing script, orgasmic gameplay.

Usually, I can forgive a game for bad narrative, if the gameplay is good. The classic Sonic games are still among my favorites, along with Adventure 2.

Then you want to avoid Banzai Pecan. I've bitched about in that one on the "What's Upsettng You Lately" because not only is the gameplay tedious (for all the wrong reasons), the writing is [acid burst]-poor, worst than most beat 'em ups I've played. Plus the developer seems to be a narcissistic douche who can't take criticism very well (least not mine).

I liked Sonic Color's writing. Then again, if you are playing a Sonic game for the writing, you are playing the wrong game. Too bad the games have a terrible hit/miss record.

I never played Sonic '06 (or any of the other Sonic games) for the story, but in Sonic '06's case, I felt like I was being treated to a really bad fan fiction. It's the rotting cherry on top of a diarrhea sandae of bad programming.
