Yeah unless they have a Gamestop event distribution we're probably not getting the ticket.  I mean I don't mind too much since I can Transfer Latios from my White 2 if necessary, but I really hate when they make events like this where they put it in a place that not every state has.

But see the opposite side of that coin is why would you need it if you already have the Latis (From a complicated/tedious Gen 3-Gen 6 Transfer or from a less complicated but still tedious Gen 4-Gen 6 transfer) or if you have a bunch of people who would gladly trade their over their other Lati for Pokedex stuff.

Its not as rough as it was back in ye-olden days of Accessories nobody had and the most people you could trade 'mons with were other people nearby that also had Game Boys because wireless communications weren't nearly as advanced back then. Its a bit shitty that they're not just doing like First-Week/First-Month Mystery Gift (Like the Victini Liberty Pass in BW) but at the same time I imagine they don't really care either way since they know people will just transfer/trade for them if need be.

Oh wait you have to get Black 2, I forgot I got Latios in Soul Silver and Latias in White 2.  Sapphire gets Latias so you need Black 2 for Latios.

Sure it's focused on StreetPass but it's still a code that's gonna be given out first and foremost. And just like the demo codes, I know we'll be able to get them online somehow from people giving spares away.

Yeah you can get it via StreetPass, but the origin will be a serial code you can input. The first people to have Eon Tickets will get them via code and spread them via StreetPass.

Oh no, that's perfectly fine. Its a dumb way to distribute stuff, by limiting it to events or things that mostly only exist in major markets and whatnot. Rural areas and smaller markets get the short end of the stick and thankfully for the most part Nintendo's been good about not making the Streetpass stuff super necessary for the most part or providing an alternate solution (Like the Streetpass challenges in Smash, which can be done in practice while the 5 hits one can be broken with a hammer. Or the Bravely Default Norende sidequest where you got Villagers via spotpass in addition to any you got in Streetpass.)

This though, nope. Limit it's availability because Pokemon.

Codes will still make their way online. They have a way of doing that.

I've only ever gotten one StreetPass.  It was in Hanover.  I've since taken my 3DS through Gettysburg a few times, taken it to Gamestop, played it while in a café, played it at the doctor's office, taken and played it at Shippensburg University, played it in Mount Holly, played it outside of Carlisle, played it in Emitsburg, played it outside of Fairfield...

Nothing.

I've only ever gotten that one StreetPass when I was playing it out on Franklin Street in Hanover.

Yeah.  No StreetPass groups here.
