I don't know what the update did, but I heard that the Diancie Mystery Gift was having problems with guaranteed IVs early on.

Yeah if not you can just enter the game again or scan the QR code at Serebii like I did since I had Smash in my 3DS.

I don't think the Pumpkaboo I got through Mystery Gift has its Hidden Ability. I'll have to check once this update completes.

You can soft reset for the Hidden Ability by saving before you talk to the Mystery Gift girl. That's how I got both a male and female with their HAs.

Okay another secret mission has been discovered and unlike the other obe there's an award for getting it. If you get the mission and complete it you'll get a nugget. It hasn't been discovered if you cen do the mission multiple times to get more even if the nugget guy implies it.

I'll give him about twenty eggs and then swap him out for some Starter breeding batches. He'll need a rest, an icepack, cream for the chafing, and a Gatorade to rehydrate.

Then after some batch breeding, he's going right back into the Daycare until he produces a shiny!

Apparently one of the things the new patch does is change some Pokeball opening animations for more variety instead of them all being roughly the same.

That is the most random change I could think of, it would have made sense in a Diamond and Pearl remake but not here.

There's probably more to the patch than that.

My battles will be more colorful, if I'm not just having Mewtwo do all the work for the young'uns warming the bench.

And my old Johto Hypno (whom I've dubbed "Nana") is Gentle, but her best stat is Attack.

Apparently the animations were already in the game code but the patch fixed a glitch that prevented them from being used.

The glitch also fixed Vivillon not appearing in the Friend Safari selection screen, that always bothered the heck out of me.

Which reminds me, do you think the Safari Zone is gonna be replaced with the Friend Safari in ORAS? Or maybe it'll be redone to be more like HGSS's Safari Zone.

Okay more info on the 2nd Secret mission, it starts happening 2 weeks after the playthrough and if you complete it you'll have access to more parts of Mosdeep city, including Steven's house. I just hope the Kecleon finds a good home.

So I'm almost done with my Pokedex on X after transferring all the Pokemon from Black 2, barring a few that it didn't want to transfer.

Which is rather annoying considering that 2 of them, Shaymin and Arceus, I kinda needed to complete the 'dex.

So tomorrow after I get my Diancie code, I'll get those too.
