It can be rather addictive, but the payout is pretty bad, even if you finally get to the higher levels. Of course, one wrong move, and you fall back to the lowest level again.

Finally those dreams back in the day of going into space to fight Deoxys seems to finally come into fruition.  Though not confirmed it seems like this will be a post game scenario so Deoxys might not be an event Pokemon anymore.  Also showing more Pokemon you can get in those mirage spots, and it seems to include the Regis.  THANK [tornado fang]ing GOD.

But I liked having to get both Relicanth and Wailord to unlock their lairs. It felt like I had discovered ruins lost undersea for many years and I was the first to unlock their secrets.

Sure the Braille was weird but they could've figured out a way to make it work with a new puzzle.

I just found the entire thing to not only not make sense or be cryptic, I found it absolutely tedious.

I can see that. But the idea of ancient ruins sealed away for eons scattered throughout Hoenn... Seeing those monolithic structures and wondering what they were, only to unlock them and step inside...

I just liked that feeling of discovery. And to find out they're just scattered in Mirage Spots? That takes some of that fun away.

I mean they presented the Mirage Spots initially as a way to catch Legendaries not native to Hoenn.

And now it seems like even some Hoenn-native Legendaries are in there too.

I liked the Alph Ruins much better, even if the rewards sucked and getting all of it requires really going out of your way to do it.  I liked the concept of finding ruins under the sea, but I don't like the execution of it.

Also I think the exploration of the sky is honestly pretty comperable.

I suppose so, I just wish that Hoenn-native Legendaries were actually on the ground still. Seems like a copout so they didn't have to redesign the puzzles.

Unless they're all there and you need all three to access new puzzles on the ground to get Regigigas, that would be cool.

You probably do, and hey it give validity to that strange line of the Regis flying away if you fail to catch them.

Well they mentioned Regigigas in the trailer, but it seemed separate from the Regis being in the Mirage Spots since they made a point to say you needed all three to encounter Regigigas
