Saw Cap 2. It was pretty good! One question though... where the hell is Hawkeye? I might have blinked and missed mention of him in one specific part I guess, but the question still stands.

Haha, yeah NO idea. Hopefully they address that later on.

Captain America 2 was pretty [tornado fang]ing good.

Not really a moment's rest. And the lack of slow motion stuff was indeed a refreshing change.
I love how they brought back the Cap 1 suit for the climax.
So I broke down and watched Captain America 2.
This movie man... this movie.
[tornado fang]ing amazing, is all I have to say about it.

You don't even really feel that it's a superhero movie, most of the time. It's such a difference, from say, Avengers.
Not that I dislike Avengers, but the atmosphere of this movie, its action. Everything is brilliant.
And most importantly, I was able to tell what was happening all the time, even during intense action scenes.

Oh [tornado fang]ing yes, it's indeed amazing.

And it's perhaps the darkest of all the Marvel cinematic films. Believe it or not, the people who directed the film (the Russo brothers) created a comedy show called, Community (which recently got cancelled D:), and they've also worked in many other comedies.

As far as I know, they haven't directed anything serious before Cap 2, so it's amazing that they handled a completely different genre this well.

The Russo brothers confirmed that they're directing Captain America 3, as the critical reception for Cap 2 was phenomenal.

Color me interested then, if they can keep up the level of awesome this movie had.

Also, what was your favorite scene Phi? Mine was...
When Cap and B-Widow find that "computerized" nazi scientist, and when he breaks the news of Shield being Hydra right into their faces. This whole ordeal was just such a great combination of "WHAT THE [tornado fang]" with a dose of "MY GOD THAT'S CHEESY" and a "CREEPY" on top.
As much as I loved the story and pacing, my favorite would have to be the fight scenes between Cap and Bucky; all of them (and Cap's slow-mo fall at the ending gave me goosebumps). The action choreography was just incredible, and I haven't seen CQC that intense since The Raid.

Yeah, that was brilliantly done. Sets up SO much in the Marvel Cinematic universe, and has also made the Agents of SHIELD show soooo much better.

I loved the new Godzilla.
It only had 2 things I disliked.
It needed more Godzilla and Cranston.
I really love his new design and the way he fights! <3

So glad I saw it in imax 3d. :D

Careful. Liking him will get you lynched around here.

I never watched much of Seinfeld, but I saw a few clips of him from the show. Good stuff.

I first saw him in Malcolm in the Middle, and he was hilarious in that; completely different in every single way from Walter White. And most importantly, he was believable in both roles.

My favorite part of the shows are the possibility of
Breaking Bad possibly being Hal's dream.
I think I like Malcolm in the Middle more.
Probably the sheer insanity that made the family feel real to me.

Haha, yeah, the family was always a blast to watch and see what shenanigans they'd get themselves into. Dewey and Hal were personally my favorite characters.

Quite a lot of Godzilla movies don't have much Godzilla in it.
As for Cranston, I was pretty sure he was dying during the opening credits, when it said "And Bryan Cranston!" XD
I thought so as well but damn It I was hopeful hahaha .

And again that's true but lm greedy!
I did like that we finally get some awesome human perspective shots of Godzilla in the city.
The whole damn movie looks gorgeous!

I still can't get over the way the fight ended.
I didn't see that coming at all.

Hell [tornado fang]ing yes!
Even my favorites from the Heisei era I dare say look outright campy by comparison.

I have finals coming up this week, so I have to focus on that. But once all that is over, I'll definitely watch it!

I still have to watch Spidey 2, as well.

Maaaan, I'm glad they went the Showa Era route with this, cause it FREELY opens up the possibility to introduce King Ghidorah! :D

You know I've always wondered why people like Ghidorah so much.
Aside from looking awesome as [tornado fang] he never really seemed interesting or threatening.

I prefer Destroyah personally. The way he looked in his final form is one of my favorite designs of anything ever. He was also just a complete menace and was just plain brutal. I don't think I've ever seen Godzilla get so thrashed!

On a side note Junior's 'death' and the meltdown still make me cry a little.

Because he's awesome as [tornado fang], and usually has the best fights with Godzilla, outside of Mechagodzilla.
