Yeah, I wish I could find it too.

Who the heck would want to play a "hairless" Zero with the same abilities as X?
Yes, I know K.Inafune stated somewhere Zero was supposed to be the main hero of the X series, but decided against it. But a hairless Zero, talking to Zero is just plain silly.

Same here. It seems that rom is heavily modified that even emulators cant handle it.

Well it's just that alot of emu's unfortantely either have very poor support for the MMC5 mapper, or just some of the most important registers are not emulated properly or at all literally. :\

Even the latest fceuxd 2.1 STILL does not even emulate the mmc5's $5130 register, which allows the rom to have 4x as much graphic space as normal games. which would mean that i could exapand the size of my rom as high as 2000 kb (2 MB) But it works in nestopia and nintendulator...

Has anyone checked out the unabridged demo for Megaman Forever yet?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9zvEKxKt4E

It's buggy since it's just a demo and most of the stages are incomplete, but there's new music. Plus the weapons are functional as far as I can tell.

Holy *BOMB* Batman. New DEMO??? SWEET!  8)

EDIT: Works on the NES emulator on my DS flash card. :)
(Now, if only kuja killer's MM3 game worked like this on emulators)
I really LOVE the debug menu. Esp. considering making it a bit easier for sprite x,y offsets. I also noticed in the debug there are sub tanks? I think this hack is going to be one of the best MM4 hacks by far.  8D

I tested some of the levels already. As far as I can tell, they look really good. Complete or not, from what I can tell most of the stages have been redone for this hack.

I love how you use MM2 elements in this game. And LOL, Metal Blade. XD

b'sides, why not? I thought it looked pretty awesome.

Okay, I am re-worked on a new static platform engine to include features of slippery ice platforms. I may be using this in my Mega Man engine.

Static Platform & Ice Platforms Engine Test
This new static platform engine includes the ability to increase/decrease X movement velocity/speed as I need. Useful against moving on normal platforms, and on slippery ice platforms.
Where as, the old static platform engine, used in my current mega man engine, has less far fetched features such as this. My Mega Man engine uses a more direct, absolute velocity where I couldn't really control the movement increase/decrease.

I need some input here. Is the moving good? Or are there noticeable differences from this engine and comparing it to the movement in the Mega Man games? I need to determine if this needs any fixing, or adjustments before I add these features in my current Mega Man engine.

Yea I know. I think it feels off too. Even I think it needs a bit more tweaking.

For example: I just noticed if you run left on the ice, then press/release right to turn around, then tap right while on the ice, you keep sliding backwards with no velocity downdown. X_X

This isn't final. It's just showing my current progress with this so far.

You can access all 8 levels and a couple of the Castle stages. MatrixZ has linked to his blog where the IPS patch is.
You can access everything on a menu right away. Just change the check point to reach the bosses.
There's no access to the Final Boss room, and there's nothing there anyway, because it's completely blank. ^^

tl;dr no, the game isn't finished yet, but you can still play the levels. Some of the levels are broken at the very end.

Been a while since I've posted an update. ;)

I just have an unrelated question for ya. Did you like somehow make your video stop playback for your annotation messages yourself? Or is this some new youtube update or something cause it seriously annoyed the hell out of me when i try to read your messages, but instead the video keeps stopping and making the messages disappear when i wanna be the one that clicks the pause button.. Cause i tend to read slowly ...and they disappear way too quickly, so it seriously irritated me. :(
