Oh young one, it's far FAR worse than that. This is just one thing on a whole list of reasons why this person shouldn't ever, EV-ER consider a career in writing.

It's a sad, sad story. Sad as in facepalm. And yes, he still wants to be a writer. He can't write an outline, his ideas suck ass, he refuses to take writing courses to better his writing as his prose sucks, his grammar sucks, his characters suck, he was unaware that yes, there are still prose magazines out there, and yes, there is a market for vigilante prose novels, but he apparently hasn't set foot in a bookstore at all.
