Today I finished hacking the PC version of X4 to add voice clips by Lucas Gilbertson, including his recent Zero/Iris death redub with Ashley Schroeder.

If by chance you have tracked down the PC X4, you can apply the hack for yourself with ease.

It's further along than you might think.  But there's another little easter-egg or two that I want to track down before I make another release.

Is there any way to hack the Sigma music into its correct order?

I suppose I should actually FINISH the PC game before I ask this, but what part of Sigma's music order is incorrect?

There'd be some nasty copyright issues with that (not like there already aren't) but Capcom would be more likely to kick the crap out of someone if we posted a fully patched version here.

Yeah, I realize PC X4 is elusive.  But we don't need Capcom kicking the crap out of us.  They tend to not stomp out encouraging the fans; they even turn a blind eye to soundtrack downloads if they don't believe it'll cut into Japanese sales.  But it's a safe bet distributing the full game would be over the line.

Besides, Google works.  It's a pain to find a version that hasn't been stripped down, but it's out there.
