I played MM games for along while now and while they may be fun to play, there just some parts in the games that are a little [tornado fang]ing that makes you want to smash your controller. Some parts in the games (ex. spikes, getting pushedback when hit and Quick Man's insta death laser things) just irritate but after replaying the stages over and over again, they annoy me less. What are the little things in any MM game that annoy that use to or still annoy you?

Acid

ENEMIES. GRRRRR. HOW DARE THEY STAND IN MY WAY?

>: |

Actually, just enemies I couldn't jump over.

Asvel

Goddamned bats. (Anything that attacks you when you try to jump, causing you to fall into a pit or spikes.)

Specifically, those things with the helicopter blades (prominently seen towards the end of the intro stage to X1). They'd get me all the time there and in Chill Penguin's stage (at least in the GBC version of the stage).

Also to add some irony to the title, you left out a verb. It's always the little things, doncha know.

mmm...  Sigma. HE JUST WONT DIE
seriously though, indestructabl enemies. kinda like the press things in the 2nd or so sigma stage X5.

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

The disappearing blocks, even when I memorize the pattern I get screwed over because I'm either slow or too quick to react on time.

That's why you memorize the flight path and appearance spots; don't know how, but I was always better with the X series in this regard than the Classic.  :)

What gets me are level parts that you have to memorize PIXEL-PERFECTLY, or DIE, Quickman's stage being a prime contender with some parts of X6 coming to mind.   -_-  Enemy-wise, I can handle just about every normal enemy type, but the bosses tend to cause trouble (at least, again, in the Classic series). Of course, once I pull out their weakness, I make thy [twin slasher] face.  bVd

Frozen Potato

Gate's Lab 2nd stage after you fight High Max,using X without an air dash.....your seriously screwed.... [tornado fang]ing stage designers.....

Dr. Wily II

World 4's buster recoil...
Fire off a charged shot while jumping over a pit/spikes, and... BOOM! XD

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

RMX

Enemies that are too short to be hit by your buster while standing

Rockmon

ATM, I can think of three things that [acid burst] me off about the stages.
1. the damn quick lasers and any cross series variants.
2. disappearing blocks.
3. the mech joes in flashman's stage.

Can't think of anything recurring, but going by the individual game:

MM1 - Those damn pogo-stick cyclopses
MM1 (again) - Those gun-toting platforms that may or may not crash you into a spiked ceiling in Wily Stage 1.
MM7 - Burst Man
MM9 - F@#*$$@ING HELICOPTER CLAWS!!!
MM&B - The giant fire bombers in Burner Man's stage.  That and the lack of a dash button on GBA.

X3 - The buster upgrade.
X5 - Power-Up Part distribution is more ass-backwards than mooning while moonwalking.
X7 - Pretty much everything X says.
Xtreme1 - Music.

Z1-3 - The fact that weaknesses are just recolors of standard attacks.

Slash Man

The floating foot-holders in Iceman's stage. Funny story; at that part in the game, my brother walked in on me venting my anger in profanity. But that was a long time ago.

Almost broke my original copy because of that, but lucky me the label was scratched and didn't work anymore so I invested in the X collection.

Ah, ye poor schmucks who know not how to handle the awesomeness of Shadow Armor, much less an unarmored run....

The Slacker Hunter

Rangda Bangda. Always had trouble with him some reason, besides the spikes.
If you are reading this then that means that I have managed to control your mind even if for a short period of time.

Night

The Power Masslers from 5...

I can't get out from under them before them stomp on me...even with the slide, and I especially can't shoot back at them...

And when there are the top of a latter-GAH, FORGET IT!

The original one wasn't that hard, but the one in X5 was a pain in the ass because of the spikes in the walls.

Commander Shepard: *stares blankly at a video of scantily clad asari dancers* ...What kind of hotel is this?
Liara T'Soni: It is a luxury resort with an... exotic edge.  Azure is slang for a part of the asari body in some places on Illium.
Shepard: Where?
Liara: The lower reaches, near the bottom.
Shepard: I meant, "where on the asari body?"
Liara: So did I.

Oh you mean the armor that's a pain in the ass to get?

Yes, that's exactly what I mean.

It's worth it.  Gaea Armor X is a [chameleon sting]ing tank.
