And welcome back to Yours Truly is still alive. You thought 2016 has killed me, but in fact it was actually my PC's power supply and system file that took the fall.

The inactivity nearly put me through a lot of despair, and had nearly nothing to work with, during the time. Thankfully I got my brother to fix it for me, but at a great cost. With the new power supply and SSD, we stuffed my tower with all the fans that could pssibly be fitted. I no longer feel my PC overheating, but at a whopping R1550 (Equivalent to 113.87 US dollars), which has chopped off more than half the money I tried to save last year.

For now I need to sort everything out. I still got some problems to deal with.

I can relate since during 2016 some bad [parasitic bomb] happened to my parents that set them back on stuff they were saving up for like gifts to other family members and trying to get a computer for my older brother to replace his dead laptop that died on him a few months ago.

Apparently my recent Don't Starve games appear to be inaccessible. I think I just lost over 1500 days (About 200 hours) of gameplay.

You can't back up/restore the save files?

I can't seem to find them. The last saves that I managed to recover were old outdated versions of the game that I never used again. Even then, I've got no clue where else the missing saves were; I even try the search option but it just leads me to the old version saves.

I haven't played it on Steam. So I doubt any of my saves uploaded to to the Steam database; and I doubt Steam Cloud's going to miraculously dig up something that doesn't exist in their database.

So we picked up a second kitten yesterday, another from the same liter as Mina; them meeting perhaps could have been handled better though, Mina hissed at the new kitty (despite them being sisters  ) but thankfully nothing physical happened (Mina isn't used to sharing the house), new kitty is upstairs under my bed I left the door closed so she can get used to the new environment and get her confidence back.

New kitten is very friendly she ventured onto the bed last night and said hello rubbing her face all over mine. Just need to get her and Mina to be as friendly now.

Finally caught up to storyline in KHUx (that's Quest 540) after picking the game back up last Monday.

I wasn't even at Quest 100 yet. Thank god for the 0 AP event so I could just BLAZE THROUGH THE STORYLINE FASTER THAN A SPEEDING GUMMI SHIP
