Anywho... I had to explain basic use of energy cards to my nephews. They have a play mat that tells you how to play the game, but they still have no idea what they're doing.

Even my faded memory of early pre-Gen III gaming is more precise.

My experience with the Card Game comes from the Pokemon TCG video game, and you can get that in the 3DS Virtual Console. It has some kick ass music and I like the protagonist's bandana, we need more protagonists with bandanas. It also had a sequel where you can choose your gender that was also for the GBC, but we never got it in America for some reason, maybe it just wasn't popular enough here.
