The overall plans for Team Skull is still unknown though, even if it's just revenge. Either way, they are pretty much hooligans at the moment.

As for Zubat and Dragonite... I checked the JP site, and it is labelles under Pokemon seen previously. It could mean that they have appeared in the trailers, which they did.

OR it could be a Feint, and truly reveal Alolan formes later.

Speaking off, they mentioned news on 12 Aug. Was the trailer yesterday counted towards this? Or new news?

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

Sakura Leic

I think this was supposed to be for the 12th but the Leaks made them show the trailer sooner.

I guess all I can really say is it isn't exactly what I'd expect out of a $4.4M game

It doesn't even have mouth animations

There's a lot of speculation as to how/if Mega Evolution fits into Sun and Moon.  No announcement has been made on this, but someone is apparently claiming that the Sun/Moon trainer bracelet can equip one Z crystal AND one Mega Stone, meaning any Mega will be able to use hold items and not just Rayquaza.

...eeexcept that Mega Evolution ALREADY has the trainer holding a stone in their bracelet?  Sounds a little off, but if it's true, at least the game would no longer revolve around Mega Rayquaza, and it would alleviate the "offensive Mega outclassed by Choice/Life Orb" phenomenon.  I personally would have expected Z Moves and Megas to not overlap, as in you'd choose one or the other.  But hey, nobody gave a crap about limits with Primal Reversion (seriously, they need to fix that), so who knows?

Z-Moves kinda felt to me like the answer to the eternal "why doesn't *fill-in-the-Pokemon* have a Mega evolution?" questions.  God knows I'd love my Dragonite to whip out an awesome super-move like that.

...also, this.

I couldn't help myself.

Still... Dragonitenite. 8D
I can just imagine Mega Dragonite having a new Ability that makes its attacks induce sleep.

That, or we could just go with Dragonicite.  But where's the fun in that?  8D

They acknowledged Raichu.

And please don't call her that, it triggers me.

EDIT: Silver Bottle Caps raise 1 IV to Max it seems.

I forgot to mention they hint at a Gold Bottle Cap that raises multiple stats too.

There's going to be live Sun and Moon footage at Gamescom via the German Twitch Channel starting at 8:00 AM Pacific Thursday.

There was a lot of repeat stuff for Gamescom but there were 2 notable things shown.

First there's a second Electric Type Z move that seems to be Physical and a New Fire/Dragon type Pokemon which conveniently also got an English Trailer release just now.

Interesting... Shell Trap looks like it needs to be set first, then be attacked physically before a retaliation.
... Needs more details. XD

Still, looks cool.

The 3 missing Corocoro Pokemon have got a new Trailer at the World Championship and yet another new Pokemon has been revealed.

Sandygast and Palossand also have the new ability Water Compaction which boosts Defense by 2 when hit with a Water-type move.

And they're even scarier in 3D! :o

EDIT:  I just realized.....that Stufful has a tag stuck on its' but under it's tail.....I don't know how to feel about that Teddy Bear or not.

The scariest Pokemon ever.....is called Pile of Sand.

Also some official information on all these Pokemon, and much less Engrish.

Stufful’s cute appearance and movements—plus the fluffy feel of its fur—all combine to make it super popular! This Pokémon may have a small body, but its strength is extraordinary. Receiving one of its powerful hits without being prepared for it can bring down even well-trained Pokémon!

A Sandygast emerges when the grudges of Pokémon and other creatures soak into the sand after they fall in battle. In essence, it’s a possessed lump of sand! If you heedlessly grab a Sandygast’s shovel, you’ll fall under the Pokémon’s control. A Sandygast uses its power to manipulate children into gathering sand to increase the size of its body. If a Sandygast loses its shovel, it may put up a tree branch, a flag, or another item in its place. These Sandygast are wanderers in search of their own shovels. The tunnel-like mouth of a Sandygast can suck the vitality from people and Pokémon. Apparently it’s a test of courage in the Alola region to put your hand in a Sandygast’s mouth.

Palossand controls human adults, making them build a sand castle that provides camouflage and also raises its defensive abilities. Unlike Sandygast, if Palossand loses some of the sand from its body, it can restore itself on its own. When moving about in search of prey, the shovel on top of Palossand’s head revolves. It’s said that the shovel could be serving as some kind of radar. Palossand loves the vitality of Pokémon and drags small Pokémon into its body so it can steal their life force. Its sandy vortex swallows them up in a heartbeat! Pokémon dragged into Palossand leave traces of their ill will behind. It’s thought that this negative energy may be the starting point of new Sandygast...

Crabrawler has a personality that really hates to lose, and it’s driven not only to aim for a higher position than its fellows in terms of social standing, but literally to aim for a higher position in the landscape. Perhaps as a result, it’s sometimes found clinging to tall people or to the walls of buildings! If you try to remove one against its will, you’ll be met with a sound punch. Crabrawler’s favorite food is Berries. It punches the trunks of trees to give the branches a good shake and knock any ripe Berries to the ground so it can feast! Many Crabrawler may gather around a tree, but only the one that emerges victorious in battle against all the others receives the privilege of eating the ripe Berries. Crabrawler uses its claws to protect its face and belly while getting in close to an opponent to throw punches. Its punches are powerful enough to split tree trunks! Crabrawler’s pincers are sometimes torn off during its bouts—and they are said to be delicious.

Coconut crabs are pretty hardcore land crabs, no wonder Crabrawler is a Pure Fighting Type.

Also I was wrong about the Z-Move from before, it was actually a Normal Type Z-Move.
