So someone presented a terrifying thought, all of Litten's hairballs will be on fire.

The thing I'm most excited about is that the characters are always full size. Not that the chibi designs in XYORAS were bad, but I'm pretty sure they were there because of tradition. And it was kinda jarring to go between the in game and cutscene designs. With this I feel it kinda helps with the immersion.

My fiance pointed out that since Litten's fur is filled with flammable oils, perhaps he'll gain a secondary Poison typing?

Not really, I mean flammable oils are a common thing with Fire Pokemon biology I think.

Heck Cinccino has oils to keep it from getting dirty, and besides Toxic by TM and Gunk Shot by tutor it does not learn Poison type attacks. 

However I wouldn't be surprised if Litten learned Poison type attacks like Houndour/Houndoom.

True, but they've been good with giving us new type combinations, and Fire/Poison is still unused and I just REALLY WANT FIRE/POISON I DON'T CARE THAT IT'S 4X WEAK TO GROUND

Also since it's Hawaii-based maybe we'll finally get a DARK/BUG TYPE MOSQUITO THAT I'VE WANTED FOR SEVERAL GENERATIONS NOW

And since it's Sun/Moon maybe we'll also finally get a DARK TYPE GYM LIKE REALLY HOW HAVE WE NOT HAD ONE YET

Seriously we need a Dark type Gym and a Dark Move with more than 80 base power.  Seriously.

EDIT: Okay Foul Play is technically 95 power, but the damage is also varied by the Attack Stat of the opponent.  There's also Night Daze at 85 but it's exclusive to Zoroark at the moment.  Still need better Dark Type Moves.

I'm going for Litten since again it's been a while since I had a Fire Starter.  But maybe we should wait to see what the Com Mon Birb is.

Coro Coro has a released a slightly different trailer that doesn't really show anything new, however you can see an unidentified Pokemon on the overworld for a split second as the protagonist leaves the house.
