Looks like when you're in Vast Poni Canyon. It's a 5% encounter though and only in the outdoor areas.

The Global Mission for catching 100 million Pokemon is live!  We have to get this by Dec 12th so everyone can get 2,000 FC, if we fail we will get no less than 100 FC.

Be sure you register with the Hula dancing lady in the Festival Plaza inside the Palace!

Note that you need to do Game Sync first, so that the mission is downloaded to your game. Then speak to the lady.

To update your catches into the grand total, Game Sync again.

If all goes well, you can get to lvl24 for your Plaza, just based on the maximum 2000FC reward.

Actually, I double checked on the Global Link and Serebii was wrong, the reward is 1000 FC not 2000 FC.
